The idea of the plot was interesting: three divided worlds where each hero has to dealt with and come together at the end with the realization of their true-self. Sorrily it was very poorly managed and the stories felt disconnected, leaving none character development and an empty message. At least it was entertaining and the animation was fine. Good analysis.

I wanted to like this movie. I really did, but I just couldn't get into it. Because the plot doesn't actually get rolling until halfway through the movie, the ending seems rushed and a bit confusing. I'm still unsure as to why Warworld needs Martian DNA to unlock its full power but also make it self-destruct. Mongul was also wholly uninteresting, which is sad because I usually enjoy him as a villain. The beginning of the movie was entertaining, but it's frustrating that it didn't tie into the ending in a meaningful way. I also really dislike that our heroes never regain their memories, even by the end. They didn't feel like themselves at all. Anyways, that's my thoughts on this film.

I'm assuming the reason it needed Martians was because their telepathic abilities make their emotions much stronger or whatever, like in Young Justice. But yeah, they kinda just assumed we already knew that instead of explaining it. And in general this film didn't really add anything to this new universe, if anything it just took more stuff away. It killed off Martian Manhunter after they barely did anything with him and now the main characters are hollow husks of themselves without their memories. It's worse off now than it was before this movie, honestly

@@nagger8216agreed. This universe started so good with Man of tomorrow, a straight up Supes solo film,l. The JS WW2 which introduced Flash and the JSA, it was more of a detour bit it was a fun alternate story again showcasing Flash s powers. The Long Halloween films are great, they just tell a Batman story while referencing the JL at the very end when Barry and Ollie visit Bruce. GL Beware my power is the 1st movie which imo started to present problems for this universe because it did too much. It should ve been a simple John Stewart standalone film like Supes and Batman, while showing the JL reference at the end or a little bit throughout the film. But what the movie dis wronf was showing us an already formed JL with members we havent seen before or that werent developed like GA or Vixen, and who we probably wont see again because if the upcoming COIE film. It had Hal dying without ever seeing before and also the whole Parallax storyline and the Thanagar-Rann war. Just too much.

I personally feel like the movie simultaneously does and doesn't work. On one hand, I really friggin loved Clark's portion. Maybe it's just because I'm most familiar with Clark and what his general messages are, but it really worked for me. Hell, even Diana's worked for me. But Bruce's portion just kind of killed my jazz. Even ignoring the fact that I would've preferred that the Trinity be together and with their memories for the whole movie, I feel like Bruce's portion made him a little *too* much of a bastard. I'm referring specifically to when he leaves Warlord behind. I really feel like this movie needed 20 more minutes and a rewrite. I strangely still like it, but I can't say it's the great DC Trinity movie I wanted it to be

I get that DC really loves the Big 3 but honestly, I think this whole movie could've been much better. Wonder Woman's identity wasn't revealed to her in her own sub plot, Batman's identity wasn't revealed to him in his own sub plot and Superman's identity was merely revealed to him from Wonder Woman, but she was describing an entirely different Superman as she said, "He's much younger", probably from an alternate reality. Then they were teleported to what I can assume as the Monitor's ship for help with Crisis on Infinite Earth. So, in retrospect Wonder Woman's and Batman's first subplots were a waste of time as they didn't learn anything about themselves.

You reminded me of something I think about now and then but in an amorphous manner ... a faint memory, more than anything else. It was used in "Superman man of tomorrow" cartoon, also, at the very beginning. I'm 73. I watch the first Superman show back in the 1950s.. I was all of 7 or 8. Hence, a life long love for science fiction and comic book based movies. I also watched the Twilight zone when it was originally on in the 1960s. Aliens in the 1950s were not entirely, but nearly entirely, portrayed in a very negative way. Superman was an alien, of course, but I don't think I even understood that, originally! ("The Hand", an episode of the twilight zone, called "Will The Real Martian Please Stand Up?", ) The only movie I know of that portrayed an alien in a positive light from that time was "The Day the Earth stood still" and even that Alien ended his visit with a threat. You covered the Clark episode of the cartoon in a limited way but it reminded me the that Twilight zone episode and how negatively aliens were portrayed until Mr. Spock appeared in 1966!

I honestly really love Justice League Warworld, no complaints except maybe Mongul and Martian Manhunter. I love Diana being a cowgirl, fits her like hell, I like Bruce doing what he has to only to realise his wrongs, I like how Bruce and Diana try and do their best in it and Clark is well Clark! He does what he can when he himself is an outcast! I give the movie a solid 9/10.

This was probably the worst movie I’ve ever seen. The 3 stories of the trinity don’t matter at all and the Wonder Woman one is full of ridiculous plot holes. Such as her not just beating up all the bad guys by her self when in the movie they show her tanks a wagon of tnt and parry a machine gun. Then the plot doesn’t really show up until the last 20 minutes where they just start lore dumping a bunch of stuff. The fact that the movie is set in war world means nothing because we never really get to see war world. It’s such a waste of time and money.

I don't know, the writing of it really rubbed me the wrong way. spoiler space . . . I wanted to like it but it spends how long trying to set up a confrontation between the Trinity and Mongul and in the end Mongul just has a catfight with Lobo. And then the ending hit me like "enjoying the movie? Purchase the FULL VERSION here!" Also at one point Bruce betrays Deimos, so Deimos responds "Oh well, one less person I don't have to pay." That makes no sense, because it's a _double negative_ . It should either have been "one less person I _have_ to pay" or "one _more_ person I don't have to pay." Mistakes like these just make me cringe when they make it all the way into a completed script. Maybe it's a nitpick, but considering the meaning of what was said is just plain incorrect I feel like it's a pretty big nit.
