Did you confirm that he actually had the currency and it wasnt just his addon telling him he had it? I transfered all my timewarped badges several times in a row and my addon told me i had 76k but it was because my addon didnt update what was calculated from my alts when the currency was added or removed to or from the alt. Also had this happen with when i was running darkmoon faire currency from the treasure map on all my 65+16+10 (3 accs) alts during the week where the darkmoon firewater was about 1.1k or so.

It could be the case, there was no other context given to be fair. However, on a smaller scale, this happens weekly to players

thats why you should NOT transfer big amounts of currency in 1 go, do incremental transfers in case Database goes wanky

Yep. Sad that we have to think this way. Hopefully, here soon, we won't have to do this
