you can part off on the outside of the steady, using upside down helps.

with hind sight yes i could of done that , i do like to be unorthodox , lol. my present tool post has not the scope of height to part upside down in reverse , the new one will have the scope . i am also thinking of a rear mounted tool block for this express purpose , thank you for your input , and please please please subscribe , thanks again ,Adrian
