Huge kudos to the sound engineer who mixed this. So many different rooms with different sound qualities being made to sound like they were all recorded in the same room is a mixing nightmare and this person nailed it!

Goosebumps all over, this is just perfect. Faithful to the score to the very last note. The harmony of the Warcraft 2 themes always struck me with the unconventional key changes scattered throughout the pieces, shaping the mood akin to a good book. This one is particularly incredible, and has always given me a precise and lively impression of a fierce winter in the middle of nowhere, of a tiny medieval seaside town that has been cut off from the supplies for months to come, and of the ice-locked ships in the harbour with their rolled worn sails covered in frost and snow that already turned into background fixtures. Nevertheless, the commander's order has reached here, and the lonely horn now calls for the few local troops to set off for a long and fateful journey, with the church bells mourning them in advance.

Interesting interpretation I always thought of it as the call to arms bell being run as the stalwart humans (of Warcraft 2 setting … not the later renditions) answering the call to defend their lives against the horde

Man, I was not expecting this to be THAT good! I've always argued that the entire WC2 soundtrack is monstrously underrated as an orchestral composition, and wished more orchestras would cover it. You guys just did it superbly, and blew me away. Thank you! Now do the rest 😍

This is masterfully done I love how the Human soundtrack conveys a sense of desperation, but also valor. It's just incredible and did so much for the great atmosphere of this game. It's too bad WoW has sorta trashed the old feel of Warcraft, but I guess it was inevitable.
