good build BUT: - train first a footman than a riffleman -scout as the first footman finishes - it gives you more time to react and prevents you from investing too much in a wrong strategy -start the arcane vault as soon as you have lumber for the first riffleman and 1 farm, then build another farm.

Very good Video! I wish I had found this earlier (learned this build in a more complicated way :P), it's still very helpful for me. I would really like to know how you would transition into Late game. I've seen many people go sorcs/priest but I can't tell when to do that and why. Also I find it hard to understand if I should expand or not with this build. On the other hand I must say that I'm a newbie, so that might also be the reason for my questions.

I continue this strategy with upgrading to t2, producing more riflemen, picking up a Blood Mage (to give mana to paladin), 2-3 priests and keeping on with mass riflemen as resourses allow it. No t3, just mass riflemen + upgrades for them. And this strategy kicks asses! Nobody can survive against my mass riflemen push yet! What do you think how would you counter this strategy?

A bit of elaboration on things such as why you build your base into a certain layout, or how you should scout with your Militia (especially with use of waypoints) would be very helpful for people getting into the game. It's extremely useful to know not only *that* you should do something, but *why* you should do so. Other than that, I have no real feedback to give. Keep up the good work!

@@rub3nbalou I'll keep these questions in mind for future guides. For palarifle, a few benefits are fast riflemen and a natural transition to casters at tier 2, and also very efficient creeping. The build is strong in team games and vs Undead due to your ability to nuke them with holy light. It is especially potent against ghoul fast expand as riflemen perform very well against ghouls.

Palarifle is traditionally considered strong against undead, as the Holy Light ability can be used to attack undead units!

i would imagine not so, they will be shot down too easily as they are front line

The best time to tech depends greatly on the match up and is hard to quantify! If I had to put a number out there, I’d say 5 rifles then tech is fairly average.
