Warcraft 3 Reforged supposedly will alter the original Warcraft 3 campaigns, so let's blast through Reign of Chaos and The Frozen Throne on Hard difficulty before Reforged is released! These videos will contain all cinematics and dialogue along with explanations of the strategies I'm using as a semi-walkthrough.
I am nowhere near as experienced with these maps as the StarCraft 2 campaigns, so it won't be quite as polished of a playthrough, but we will succeed through Hard difficulty nonetheless!

Burak Sevim I actually possessed every single creep cause they don’t cost food, which is what I noticed when I first played this map.

@@jemmarloaquino8571 Most of the non-ogre and bandit creeps aren't worth possessing, too weak. But the Murloc, Forest Troll and Gnoll Leaders are nice.

Its very interesting in this campaign its split telling 2 different stories, the forsaken being born and Arthas becoming the full lich king (walking lich king)

They are available at the mercenary camps once you possess the leaders. However they take up supply unlike stolen units.

Taking out the purple base first provided me breather and made it really easy for me to end the mission by destroying Varimathras base. But I used the older patch and it's different into yours. I find the older patch a little bit harder.

When I played this mission the first time many years ago, I did not know that possessing the neutral creep lords would automatically make their whole army switch allegiance. I wasted so much resources and time killing them or possessing them as I fought my way to their lord. If I had known, I would have just run my banshees through like what you did here.

Well, we're at the same boat. It's really hard to start with in this map, if you can't get the ogre warlord soon, you lose easily to those annoying necromancers. I still have to clear this map yet. I already failed 5 or more times. I just couldn't get to Mug'thol fast enough to repel the large necromancer attack for me to take Blackthorn.

Yes, it is a bug with saved games don't load properly. If you restart play from start to end it will be fine

If you had taken silence sleep would no longer be an issue way better than life drain. The knowl venom and wardens purge helps.

I only know that Ogres remained slaves to Forsaken for a time until Mug'thol got some kind of crown that increased his willpower.

Blackthorn's Bandits probably became Forsaken Rogues and Sylvanas' personal Assassins and Spies, *known as Deathstalkers.*

you can use a corpe wagon to destroy the barricade to reach the Orgre chief without having to sacrifice units. just use the wagon below near de wall of the clif and will be in range for attack.

Thing is, when I possed mugthol his guys weren't possesed as well and the optional quest is not counted as completed.

I killed the Purple base as soon as I possessed Blackthorn. It's better to draw out the level to get Sylvanas to lvl 6, that makes the attack against Detheroc easier. I possessed Blackthorn as soon as possible while enemies aren't upgraded yet.

I am playing this mission and I was first attacked at time 1:30. If I see this video, it is more than 2 minutes, that they start attacking you. Cutscene ends at 1:58 I think and attack is after 4:00. Is there some difference of frequency of attacks related to some patches of this game?

I think it is patch related, the enemy attacks were sooner and more frequent on the older patches, and I am using it. It's very hard to find some time for me to possess Mug'thol sooner.

@@JayborinoPlays Hint: *You can use Sylvanas' Ultimate Spell [Charm] even on enemy flying units, like Gargoyles and Frost Wyrms, in this Level.* Charm can collect essentially any unit that isn't spell-immune - meaning that you can steal something like a Mountain Giant (assuming it doesn't have Resistant Skin) to strain the enemy even further as they spent a lot of resources to train one. The main drawback of Charm is its high mana, especially as you'll be using it while fighting the enemy. Make sure she has mana potions on hand to ensure her reserves do not fall down. Like the Banshee's Possession skill, Charm can take the player over the 100 food limit cap. However, this will prevent a player from reviving a slain Hero or training more units. If creeps still linger on the map, try to Charm the most useful creeps possible (e.g a Gnoll Overseer for its Command Aura), since the strongest (and generally the best) creeps are above level 5. *Charm cannot be used on Heroes, or creeps above level 5.*

I played this on the latest patch,and lemme tell you,its THE hardest mission i have ever played in any RTS game,the ennemi knows where you are at all times,the AI focus your weakest units aka your meat wagons,they hunt your second gold mines,constant attacks,zero breather,i had to forsake my main base and rebuild into purple base to win this mission,so hard

Probably because not all stonemaul ogres think the same things and some of them went off on their own.

Bonus Campaign happens after this. Also... Stonemaul Clan removed themselves from the Horde. They think Orcs weak. Some Stonemauls were separated. Mug'thol was the only Stonemaul Ogre in this area in the Plaguelands commanding twoheaded Ogres hinting he may have been a Stonemaul Warlord who was separated from the rest of the clan. His group of Ogres was later known as Crushridge Ogres.

The Crushridge Ogres were subservient to Sylvanas until Mugthol took some kind of crown that enhances his willpower which allowed him to overcome the possesion.

THese missions are NOT balanced AT ALL in reforged. Blizzard screwed this game up so bad. Im glad their execs are getting the axe.

Almost every mission except maybe 4 or 5 are exactly the same as they were in classic, what do you mean? Also, I’m glad the execs got the axe because of rampant sexual harassment and a toxic workplace culture, not because of some dumb game release that I wasn’t happy with.
