JayborinoPlays here's a tip... (possibly a spoiler kek) If u don't want to be a traitor... siding with someone who's... let's say a bit of a pyscho in black armor and getting on his good side is the good path :D also make use of ur dispels on this campaign Jay and get some Ctrl Groups... will make ur life easier in this campaign trust me EDIT: Here's a tip from someone in hive during base assaults in the future.... u will lose a lot of ur units that's a fact but u have unli resources :D what u must do is target the production buildings so that they don't rebuild and workers so that they don't rebuild also :D that's after u take care of the defenders

-peasants dont eat up any supply so you can spam them as much as you need -try to use multiple production buildings and building forward operating bases (the maps are huge and reinforcing can be a nightmare)

From the beginning, this looks kinda like the terrain setup for that one Human campaign mission, with the human base in the southwest with two openings, fighting an orc base in the northeast. As well as the enemy blademaster hero. EDIT: Oh! And black dragon-related optional quest as well!

I decided to rewatch Arkain because Wynaut and I gotta say, this is prolly one of my favorite missions for how it stood the test of time. Long, with a bunch of sidequests and introducing a lot of characters but not overly attrition-based like the Aedale one. Humble beginnings, yet with a lot of ambition.

Hotkeys? Hah, back in my day I didn't even know the existence of Control Groups... I actually suck at using them surprisingly enough. I'm probably one of the worse players out there XD But yeah, the game took away your precious tower spam... they game wants to ruin it for you. And then the map maker has a secret Reaver in the map for fun. (jk, I don't really know)

rains of fire don't stack, only the first channeled one will deal damage, the rest will be for looks only. Also you need to pay attention to tomes, treassures and runes...etc because they really help a lot.

i played this book twice now with complete different choices : 1: i did every up choice that was possible and did kill all enemys / optional quest the whole campaign ended up on the right base with just 3 heroes in last mission 2: i did every bottom choice possible and did spare every enemy and didnt do opional quests if possible ended also up on the right base with 5 heroes in last mission

Now this is what normal difficulty is and should be. I am playing the "True Story Arkain" patch on normal but its normal difficulty on this and other missions is extremely difficult compared to this.

I think that Footman has heavy armor instead of medium and if croosbowman have exact same stats as rifleman then crossboman have medium armor instead of light( i wrote that as far as i heard that units are exact same)

Allow me to clear this up: The series had been cancelled twice in the past, for different reasons each time. However, I am currently working on it (well, not CURRENTLY, since I am on semi-vacation at the moment) and I plan to create much much more Arkain content.
