Tichondrius the Dreadlord instructed Arthas to collect the remains of the necromancer Kel'Thuzad who we killed during the Human Campaign of Warcraft 3: Reforged. We successfully managed to do so in the previous episode of the Undead campaign. Today we are heading to Quel'Thalas in the direction of the Sunwell.

Hey Lowko. I don‘t know if you knew this but your meat wagons can carry dead bodies so you can use the fresh bodies in a later fight with your necromancers.

I kept forgetting about that too. Another issue I have is that I keep being too afraid to put buildings right next to each other and find my bases run out of room too quickly (I'm all used to SC2 still where you can easily wall yourself into annoying situations if you aren't careful).

Came here to suggest exactly this. :) Upping unholy aura on Arthas + insta army from meatwagons + necromancers is one of the greatest ways to assault. You keep your wagons and necros in the back, while arthas goes to town with a comlpetely expendable army that only costs mana really.

Who knows. He seems to have really liked that time a zerg player stole a protoss drone and then skytossed his opponent. We may yet see him mess with such stuff.

I actually have not checked if they're even running around anymore. The map got completely remodeled, so they might as well have gotten rid of that. And I don't remember if it got patched out at some point back in the day that you couldn't build an army of human heroes. So yeah, fired up the mission just to check it out and no, you won't be getting any human heroes. You can get some elf units from a possessed worker, but they've got separate upgrades, so not super worth it. Plus, the workers are only at he blue base for optional quest and if you do that first, you won't even have Banshees then. You'd have to push forward for a bit first, fail the optional quest (does't really matter), get Banshees and then go back for workers. Bottom line, not as epic as it was back in the day of RoC's release. Did see WTii possess a Naga worker in last mission of Undead TFT campaign and it worked way better cause you get Couatls.

Hey Lowko, you can attack trees with meat wagons directly and its SIGNIFICANTLY faster than attacking the ground due to how splash damage works, watching the trees go down as slowly as they did in the 3rd mission was painful to watch

Sappers and zeppelins: That was changed way back more than a decade ago, when multiplayer sapper drops were far too destructive. Was overlords + banelings on steroids apparently, at least against buildings.

You could blow up town halls 5 mins into the game, with zero chance to defend against it on most maps (since drops survive even when the zepplin get blown up). It's patched out for that reason.

a good combo in undead is meat wagon auto-cast gather corpses (especially while waiting at base beside the graveyard, then later in fight as necromancer aggro kicks and meat wagon actually automatically unload pre-loaded corpses out for necromancer skeleton summon, no need use ghoul to face tank and waste Arthas death coil.

Tips: 1. Multiples of the same structures allow you to build more than one unit, or research more than one tech, at a time. This allows you to rebuild your army faster in case of an invasion scenario. This applies to ALL races. 2. When you're trying to siege, Meat Wagons are super good for their splash damage, and the Necromancers are good for Raise Dead. Other than that, use Ghouls to do front line work. 3. The upkeep limits are 50/80/100. When ya get 2 bases, 80 supply is fine. When ya need to end the game before the enemy builds too strong of an army, you should probably max your Food cap... 4. If you wanna use Unholy Frenzy, Frost Wyrms and Crypt Fiends use them the best out of all your right clicking Undead non-heroic units. Pairing them to Frost Wyrms can cause devastating damage to Heavy-armored enemies. 5. Obsidian Statues are a HUGE benefit to all undead armies. They can autocast Heal, but it's an AoE. They also restore Mana the same way but on a different button. Regardless, their regeneration bonus for your WHOLE army is HUGE for just 6 food all in all. Cost efficiency scales with army size, but they need to be repaired if they take damage. 6. Meat Wagons' Exhume Corpses are so good, they can benefit 3 units and 2 heroes: Death Knight, Crypt Lord, Necromancers, Ghouls, and Abominations. Be wary of Dispel Magic from Priests if you do this in PvP though... 4 Priests' casts can wipe out your spawns very quickly, except the Animate Dead ones... BONUS TIP: > Left click any neutral critters enough times in rapid succession and they will explode. This is in ALL campaigns.

Building multiple graveyards for corpse generation is key to playing undead. Moving those corpse with meat-wagons let's you create or heal army's far faster than the other races.

Necromancer is one of the most powerful unit when combined with meat wagons. Get at least 10 necromancers. Turn off autocasting of skeletons, set meatwagons to automatically collect corpses(have them hang out by the graveyard as it produces corpses nonstop.) . Before going in battle have meatwagons unload corpses and turn on skeleton autocast. They wil make ~70 skeletons that you can send in before your main army. Try it it's so much fun!

lowko, your meat wagons get targeted because they have the same threat priority as the fiends, if you have melee units those will get attacked 1st. i found with the campaigns its nice to have some variety in the comp, a few necros go a long way to provide threat displacement with their summons

Its so funny to see he uses the auto cast on the necromancer like that just insta drains mana and 70% its not even needed and you do not need to kill critters sometimes if you spam click on them they will explode and drop the loot

All of the cool items are basically handed to you in the human campaign. For the other campaigns you are often going to have to look a little harder, and explore beyond what you can see. Also. Oh no! The undead advance has been stopped dead in its tracks by a small water stream! Its like wooden doors to aliens.

Suicide bombers are an underrepresented type of unit in games, there's nothing like using a mass of banelings, fanatics, bomb trucks, etc to absolutely sweep over a base.

If you want to avoid missing stuff, then you can basically give yourself a "walkthrough" to an extent if you just use the iseedeadpeople cheat, look around for anything worth noting, make note of where they are, and then restart the mission to play normally now that you (hopefully) know where some likely item locations are, based on where interesting non-faction mobs are.

Ok another mistake that blizzard didn't fix, the Glaive Thrower should be the Ballista version of siege unit in human alliance races 🤨. The Glaive Thrower are exclusive to Night Elves not the High Elves 🤔.

Hey Lowko! If you like funny eastereggs and insane items, there is a Hydralisk and a hostile Giant Panda hiding behind trees in Night Elf camapaign, the Hydra in the 2nd mission and the Panda in retrieving Druid of the Claw one. Hope you can find it. The Panda carries an insane item.

Okay, I was gonna do some backseat gamming for the next mission after this so you don't miss the optional quest as it's a big one, but fired it up and they've remodeled the whole map so much that it's not even an optional quest anymore. You can't miss it now, which is both good and bad. So, for now (because been rewatching the OG playthrough and Lowko blindless kicked in), just remember that when a hero you had leaves the campaign in some missions, they drop their items. So, don't be afraid to give them some look around for them when the hero isn't playable anymore. I know of two more times I would tell you to do something, but we'll deal with that when we get there. 5:39 Lowko jokes reforged. 55:07 I can fix it!

I barely noticed this in the previous videos, but what are those campaign menus tho? Even Live2D mobile games look better than those. Remember when it was 3D and you went through some tunnel and emerged in front of a lich for the Undead menu? That was awesome. The story's still great, the gameplay's still the same, but a lot of the small, creative touches in OG WC3 got terribly downgraded.

Oof, good to see Lowko's positive gameplay again, especially after playing through the ending of starcraft 2 LotV myself , every time i do it, it's a really sad and depressing outcome, since i'm really into immersive story, feeling it and all. The simple matters and wars of Wings of Liberty and Swarm i enjoy, but doing things on a ''God'' level in LotV is just too much, always wanted for Kerri and Jim to live happily ever after..../criesinsadnessanddepression.... why they made reforge so easier than original in original version in first mission of this video high elves had footman in front to tank dmg and priests put innerfire on them so they are tanky and also sorceress tries to polymorth your necromancers but in reforge elves just do nothing also priests dispell your skeleton more often in original

Yes, siege damage is very important and Blizzard didn't update the pathing. So why do you send in all of your units through the way gate at once? Come on, man. Arthas + Crypt fiends first, then meat wagons!

Have your meat wagons pick up corpses... then the necromancers can use them to make a wall of skeletons to soak damage at the beginning of every battle. Can you undead? Also also wik... the first map you did can be won *easily* by making necromancers and meat wagons as an attack force and nothing else.... very economic.

The attack on Quel’Thalas wasn’t really to resurrect Kelthuzad, though that was a lesser benefit... it was to deactivate the magical/spiritual shields the High Elves maintained to keep the Burning Legion away from Azeroth, and to hollow out the Alliance from the inside to remove military resistance, taking them out one at a time verses fighting the union that defeated them before.

What I'm so confused about is Lowko always acts dumb and confused by multiple story plots as he plays them (like not to trust the dreadlords) but he's often says that W3 has one of the best story's in any game and that he has always loved it...am I missing something?

Can someone please explain the high upkeep mechanic to me?

At no upkeep (below 50 supply), workers mine 10 gold a trip (take 10 gold from the mine), and the player gets 10 gold. At low upkeep, workers mine 10 gold a trip, but the player only receives 7 gold when they return. At high upkeep, workers mine 10 gold a trip, and the player only gets 4 when they return. If you don't need a big army, staying at lower upkeep returns more gold per trip. High upkeep means a lot of gold disappears.
