Not that way. Infi used HUM in the battles against TH000. I think Infi used NE in the final for two reasons: a. 120 would think Infi must use HUM and then his tactics against HUM would be of no use; b. Infi wants to show that his NE is no worse than Moon or Foggy. :D

Infi and TH said multiple times that they will play hu mirror against each other due to the fact that they practiced NE-HU together all the time to find NE weaknesses so there is no point playing NE against each other. Infi tried and got beaten 0-2 then he switched to HU and beat TH 3-0 in Super GCS final (And I also criticized Infi for that lame move. he betrayed his own best friend and practice partner by making him think that he will play NE but then switch to HU. A complete disgrace.)

So good to see 120 won this tournament! UD has been the underdog for too long and matches with NE have become incredibly difficult to win but he has shown the world that with impeccable micro and will of steel, he can still outplay Infi NE! Thanks for the cast Neo and Remo!

Just wanted to point out the absolutely interesting fact that on the last map (TM) 120 went straight with his DK into the right direction. At first it seemed rly odd but I guess 120 made this decision due to the fact that he expected a wisp-scout from Infi if Infi was on the upper left side. Little did he know that Infi did not wisp scout at all... so with that it couldve been a 50:50 decision. So due to a false idea (Infi would wisp scout on TM - which he wouldnt do even if he was top left) he made the right call and caught Infi.

This is a beautiful guess. 000 and Ted also considered it as a 50:50 decision. Inf was also surprised and he even checked 120's scouting route after the game since he had already done enough researches on 120's scouting habits. 120 didn't stream the games so I don't know how he truly made the decision. But as far as I know, 120 has got a new understanding on TM and he even added it to his UD-friendly map list.

Spoiler. 120 is such a micro god. He makes mistakes here and there but Wc3 is a micro intensive game rather than macro and decision making which makes it so easy for this 22 year old man. Neo and Remo, thanks for brininh this whole Yule Cup to us. Great Job.

For those who think infi betrays his race, a fact is that 120 uses orc before 2014. Also, in Gold League 2018 April, after losing to focus by using UD (0:3), 120 changed to Orc and won th000(orc vs orc 3:0) and met with focus again, kept using orc and won by (4:1).

BTW, infi is called "King of 4 (races)". I think a player who master all races is absolutely respectful. At least until now, no human player is better than infi (expect th000, he is also random player).

I don't think Lyn or Moon can play other races nearly as good as infi or th000. The reason 000 and infi can master 4 races is because both of them reached a ceiling early in their career where they can't advance further with HU, so they both decided to play other races against HU to get better macro sense from the opponent's perspective. Playing 4 race means cutting your training volume by 4. It is a conscious career decision. infi mastered NE way before 1.30.

Seems like mass air is not a strong strat against UD he was Up an expo on amazonia for the whole time and still 120 got the win despite a bad early game for 120 (level 3 timing killing 2 acolytes). It feels like any other strat would have been enough to get the win.

Wow this reminds me of Mike Tyson. How will you ask? Well there were a lot of good heavy ( very heavy ) black strong fighters .. and then Mike Tyson came and killed them all in the first rounds. This was the era of Tyson dominating sumpremly. Same happened to wc3. Happy and 120 came and completely changed the pro game around. Just like Mike Tyson who used his weaknesses turning it into a strength ... for example being short .. he would use it go generate a crazy moment to throw one hook to the body then with all the moment and in quick combination with he previos punch thro an uppercut...the two kings of warcraft use their weaknesses to their advantages ... and with such God likeness.. one base vs two no problems.. that just means more units to wipe out .. the whole gold would just go into feeding the undead heroes. Whole undead is staying under 50. So constant plus 7 gold would simply just go into zero. How ? Well by having a much stronger army composition.. with better army control and mana recovery the two kings can control the map and attack and retreat just to quickly kill weak units. Give this pressure some time and the heroes grow into real monster where its insta gg hands down, not even close. Of course this only works if you have insane unit management and understanding of the dynamics of the movments of each unit. The way for example 120 created a labyrinthine with his units for the DK for him being able to run away ..just like Mike Tyson used the tactics to always get closer to the appointment while blocking his face with two hands at all times (peekaboo style) but when he threw a punch he would move his head so he was even harder to be hit even when he was not protected. This tactic only works if you are quicker, stronger and have better stamina and an amazing physical genetics like insane neck and strong ass/legs.

UD's Gargoyle is a so weak unit as seen on game 5 (map NI), and why Crypt Fiend's web cost 150 gold and 150 wood and some time to upgrade this ability? That resources and time are so important for UD at early stage, and the web is so import when against NE. Obviously, Crypt Fiend is a spider, it can make web naturally! It's not an ant, that's ridiculous!!!

Infi and th000 can easily beat 120 using HU, but they want blizzard to keep UD weak and never buff it so they want UD to win some tournaments. They will only use HU’s OP rifle bullshit to win in big money tournaments so that Blizzard will not nerf it. They even said on their own streams that part of their strat is to prevent all other players from practicing against good humans (which they are the only ones atm). It sucks that people would deny good Hu content for the community, and it’s kind of a low tactic to manipulate game balancing by gaming the tournaments.
