I am so happy to see a cosplay element introduced. That makes me so happy and excited as a cosplayer! Hopefully Elizabeth was in a ventilated area when using the barge. Quick PSA: USE A RESPIRATOR WHEN USING CONTACT CEMENT UNLESS OUTDOORS OR GOOD VENTILATION! I have seen people go to the hospital if they are not careful!!

Evil Ted's episode was great (I actually subbed to his channel because of it), but I'm surprised to find that I like this one more, even though it's similar in concept. I'm normally more partial to the idea of making something that looks decent without spending much dough, but even though this wasn't exactly cheap, and a little further on the advanced side of prop/costume making compared to some previous episodes, it's still fun to see the work that goes into cosplays. Also, those jeans are pretty cool.

Just an idea for dropping the cost by a few bucks and cleaning up some detail: Don't use the hot glue method. Instead of all that use two layers of the thermo-plastic cut out with the pattern and use them to sandwich a slightly smaller version of the craft foam pattern like the mad max face mask build or just a few layers of thermo-plastic layered together. Probably a lot of unused bits from those sheets left. Probably enough for that. Likewise, cutting that before making the ridges for the bracers and using the scraps from the sigil for them instead will be a good way to optimize plastic use. Awesome build tho! Good job!

Very cool video DIY, loving the effort and work you put into this and all your series. This one helped ease a lot of my concerns regarding doing my own cosplay, especially regarding armor. Could you possibly cover how to do helmets and possibly hoods/cloaks next episode? I'm having a lot of trouble making Amon's Mask from the show Avatar. It's almost as though Amon has a stash of different masks that he shifts between shots, because some of the geometry of the mask doesn't match. As a result, I've had a very hard time matching what the show's shown with something I could wear to a convention. I've thought about adding a fish-scale pattern to the piece, to break up the shading, "masking" (harr, pun genius!) it's flaws and the impossible geometry in the show. Do you have any recommendations? I've thought about doing a live-casting of my face to make sure that it would fit too. I've made heads out of clay in the past with anatomy that's pretty spot on with balloons in the past, but this has to fit to my head. I have a pretty prominent nose too, which I'm worried about.
