Before you build anything else, first build 6 peasants to mine gold (more if the town hall is far away) and 6 to chop wood. Minimum. This is the most important part to keep your economy going. Other buildings like lumber mills and towers can be built after that. Then get Tier2 and tier 3 as soon as possible to maximize gold. I notice that you are not building peasants, letting your base stagnate, while trying to control your army in some other part of the map. Another thing you can do is to always keep 1 peasant near your towers so that you can keep repairing them without worrying about resources.
