It reminds me of when i learned it on the guitar and it was the first time my brother awknowledged my skills since i learned it by ear. My brother died 2 years ago and everytime i hear this, i think of him and how proud he was of me then. I miss him dearly.

This was one of the only games (with Star Wars KOTR maybe being a close second) where I actually played the game just to see the storylines and cutscenes. Two of my favorite characters were created Arthas and Illidan. It is such ashame that we saw this series disintegrate into WOW. As far as I am concerned this whole line ended with Arthas sitting alone, isolated atop of the frozen throne

Still is my head-cannon since there was never a warcraft 4. WoW destroyed the very well made story in wc3, turned it into a joke. Legion expac was last bit of decent writing. Game is irredeemable at this point. Reforge is a bastard child sadly. Can at least play OG wc3 with a revert patch atleast....my poor boy. "No King rules forever"....oof.

@@Nico-pg7qr I've been going through the reforged campaign recently and have gotten to Sylvanas' first solo mission. So far, there have only been a handful additions/revisions to maps. Off the top of my head, a few examples of map revisions are the purging of Stratholme, the invasion of Silvermoon, the storming of Dalaran, and then the 1st, 3rd, and the secret chapter of the blood elves. Oh and then Majev's watchers, specifically, had like 2 additional units in their techtree (which were available only when Majev is present, they were gone during the last mission with the Stormrage Bros)

I also really like real ambience from Warcraft III. There are different ambient sounds for Dalaran, Barrens, Ashenvale, Northrend, etc. I don't know exactly where those sounds are located in game files, but they are separate and unique sounds.

In Warcraft III folder locate "war3.mpq" (or "war3x.mpq") - open it with MPQEditor - extract desired files - listen - profit!

I wish they had kept making Warcraft 3 expansions instead of focusing so hard on WoW. I would have bought every side DLC I could get my hands on. One of the only games I'd ever feel comfortable saying that.

One of the greatest Games of all time played it first when I was 7 at my cousins house and even as a dumb kid I could have hours of fun in custom games and playing the campaign. Even back then I understood what a special game WC3 truly is laying the groundwork for the future of PC gaming. More than a decade later this game still mesmerizes me with its timeless gameplay, style and atmosphere makes me come back to it every few years. The biggest shame is that this game never really had any successor and will most likely be the first and last RTS of its kind and quality. This soundtrack brings back memories of the magic and wonder I have experienced playing this true Masterpiece.
