Best assembly video ever with a touch of humor at the end!

Thank you a thousand times! My Basics Patio Heater tested below-basic, no manual was included. WardCo, you're my go-to guy for assembly instructions now. I assembled my heater perfectly and probably with less hassle than if I had used only the manual. Before we finished the video, I had my wife help me mount the heating unit on the tower. She was stuffing the "eel" gas hose down the tower and it was a struggle due to the 12F temp outside where the unit had sat. She was particularly miffed at the annoying tag on the hose. Then we watched the end and laughed heartily at your frustration with the same darn tag! Good work.

Thanks for this great video. It was immensly helpful. While "instructions'" were included they were next to useless. One note: On the newer version the upper pipe no longer threads in, but is attached by 4 small bolts.

Thank you! I am an unhandyman. You made the difference between feeling stressed (or not even trying to do this), and successfully assembling my patio heater.

Great tutorial! Love how you improvise and used the box as a second person! Plus that second person doesn’t ask for a lunch break!!😜😂

Ward, Your self-deprecating how-to videos are entertaining and amusing I love the jab about how engineers always overthink everything. As an engineer and ex-flower child who cares about the environment couldn’t you come up with a passive solar heater, teasing aside enjoy your video keep up the good work.

I just found your channel, and you sir are hilarious. You are the cleaner version of Ave, a great reviewer and pretty damn handy. I have an industrial back ground and don't need your video's to show me how to put something together, but your jokes and solid advice for those less verse kept me engaged the entire video. You should start a video series just putting crap together and talking about the product's engineering and your rating. When it comes to "un-boxing" videos I only watch three people. Ave, because we share a similar background, and find most of his stuff interesting, The Crazy Russian Hacker for a great laugh. Admittedly the laugh is from his ineptness but his genuine personality makes up for it. You now that I have subbed.

Loved this video absolutely so very informative. Also I might add that the manual that shipped with this device was unreadable as it had gotten wet (and frozen) so I would have really struggled to assemble my unit without your video. THANK YOU a new subscriber I am now.

Hey man Amazon should be paying you an assembly fee because their instructions are trash… thank you for a very detailed informative vid.
Great to watch! But I do wish you had shown how to light it. I had some challenges getting mine lit. 🔥

Watched it, liked it. To me the reflector was the hardest, must of been because you kind of skipped over. Happy I did not have to rely on manual

Well, the big deal with the reflector is nuts in or nuts out. I struggle with this in my life all the time.

Thanks for the video! Mine didnt come with instructions also missing the center pipe. Does the paperwork have info on ordering additional parts?
@WardCo Жыл бұрын
I don't recall and my paperwork is long gone -- BUT, if you find out how to order parts, let me know, as mine fell over in the massive Winter storms we had here in CA this year and the top canopy got seriously folded!
