With starting level of character of smth like 50 and basic spells (ok, i found meteorite staff and rock sling spell, it helped SOMETIMES). Dat birds. Dat dogs. Dat 3 phantom fight near Caelid arena. Dat caves full of rot. Dat rotten dragon. Dat Night Cavalry and bridge dragon in Dragonbarrow. Dat Commander in the middle of the boiling rot swamp. Dat kindred gargoyle at the Maliketh temple (FUCK THIS FIGHT, IT TOOK A FUCKING WEEK). Dat Redmane castle. But i did it. It sucked life from me, but i did it. It says something special about a game where you can see a video about a random location, think "Which one was this again?" and then one scene in the cartoon you go "Oh, right. THAT one." I also appreciate how each of the protagonists are becoming more distinct. The Guy is right up to the end of the game, so we're using his character (The Confessor? I don't know their specific names,) to go back to earlier locations, while the Knight seems more eager to explore side areas like the Volcano Manor.
@EmperorSeth Жыл бұрын
Okay, I think I worked it out! The main, bald The Guy is probably a Wretch, which also helps explains why he died so often that early. The helmeted lady is The Prisoner, hence the helmet, and this episode's protagonist is a Prophet, which was the outfit he was wearing until recently.
@lyinarbaeldeth2456 Жыл бұрын

0:08 Welcome back to Caelid. Here we are back at the arena where player fights General Radahn. It's a very large place and it even has it's own Catacombs. DON'T GO THERE *cough* *cough* sorry. That came out early. Okay... Here we go. 0:15 Those are the doors to said Catacombs. War Dead Catacombs. Why are they called that? 0:20 Cause of that. A lot of that. Just more brutal. You see in War Dead Catacombs there is pretty much a small war going on for all eternity between ghosts of soldiers of General Radahn and Malenia Blade of Miquella. Are they the type of ghosts that fight, but when you come close to they just disappear for cool effect? No... No they are not... 0:27 This will be your primary source of rage in here, but more on that in a few seconds. 0:29 Honestly... No one will judge you for it. 0:31 It is possible to get passed them. You just have to go quickly before they stop fighting or one opponent gets too far and the other on locks on you. And word of caution. They are tough... like Radahn is not the hardest part of this area kind of hard. This is genuinely one of the hardest and most obnoxious dungeons in the game. And the reward is... Eh... 0:35 Aaaand here is the entire picture of this dungeon in one small clip. Archers. Those guys will fuck you up. Funnily enough from this dungeon you can get a Spirit Summon of one of those, but he will only use special, gravity arrow after you do a warcry... only once and they are stationary, but attack immediately after being summoned. Not bad, but there are FAR better options. 0:40 And the lower part of this place has Scarlet Rot cause of course it does. Did I mention you should NEVER EVER COME HERE? Well... You should not... Unless you are hunting for Platinum. In which case go here to get the Ashes I mentioned above dropped by the boss of this place... A boss you will want to forget, but you wont. 0:45 And if it was too nice for you there are also Malenia's knights coming out of this pool of Rot like on the Swamps of Aeonia also in Caelid. Because fuck you. 0:56 This dungeon is pretty much one giant puzzle. You should NOT fight enemies here in fact. They give very little and are VERY tough to the point of making Radahn feel like a inadequate little squire in his own damn army. You should avoid them and at most only deal with archers and things that are not humanoid. 1:08 This window you need to jump into to deal with that fucking archer. Again. Do not go into this dungeon. It's a headache I do not recommend to anyone. 1:15 Also classic traps with loot and enemy showing up. Classic not welcome in this particular place. 1:25 Speaking of classics, say hello to your good friends the Imps. Fuck... FUCK!!!! FUCK THIS DUNGEON AND WHOEVER THIS DESIGNED THIS PIECE OF- 1:32 Enemies once you are dead have tendency to walk backwards to their spawn location. Amusing. But also feels insulting. 1:40 And the boss is a good old Tree Spirit in a VERY small room who also spews Rot everywhere... You having fun? YOU HAVING FUN!!??? YOU HAVING FUCKING FUN!!!? I KNOW I DIDN'T!!!! I hate this place. I hate it deeply with every fiber of my being... I would say I want to die, but I did that A LOT in that fucking dungeon. My advice for this boss? Respec and take sword of Night and Flame and spam the flaming attack. Cheese it. It doesn't deserve fairness.

@@nyysjan I hate the guard dogs that are cats. The one in the Impaler's Catacombs on the Weeping Peninsula really, really pissed me off. I finally went back there when I got the Skeletal Militiamen ashes and thankfully the stone imps are too stupid to know how to interrupt the skeletons' reanimation process. I let the skellies handle the stunlocking imps while I took out the "dog". Those Erdtree Avatars can get fucked. The one that is in the Northeast of Liurnia was the bane of my existence. I have no idea why it was so much worse than all the others up until that one. It didn't help that it forces you to clear out a bunch of Ancestral Followers before even doing the boss fight, unless the player really is a masochist and wants to fight all those Followers in addition to the actual boss. I nearly stopped trying to kill it, but then it became a matter of principle to kill the asshole.

@Lytic1000 Жыл бұрын
Radahn SUCKED compared to Leyndell although I haven't done subterranean shunning grounds yet. He has about five attacks that'll just pound you instantly, that arrow attack that btw, I thought was a lot harder to dodge than Astel and even on that tiny donkey basically outruns you. Oh, and btw, he basically gatekeeps a lot of the better regions for getting the smithing stones you need for a max upgraded weapon if you're not a sorcerer which I had when I did Leyndell. Leyndell I got through without dying, but the two things that have killed me more than Radahn so far have been gravity doing some jump sections in Caelid and Tiche (who I did beat with five deaths two weeks ago).

The Cleanrot Knight slow walk was done to absolute perfection.

At least the ghosts are having fun. And also that guy at the top of the stairs with the magic... yeah, I felt that.

I was waiting for this one. I'm so surprised this dungeon passed any QC or similar. Hilarious and accurate animation! The boss part was perfect. What happens after explains itself!

This is all too accurate. The amount of times my friends immediately died here just going through the dungeon. The instant critical attack from the tree spirit as they walk through fog wall is icing on the cake.

Lol, the ending is PERFECT! That fight on LV1 was probably one of the more difficult ones for me. It did get me very familiar w the fight tho, to the point where I genuinely enjoy fighting them now.

When I rage while playing Elden Ring, I come watch your masterpieces. There is always an episode for whatever part I am at. I end up laughing at the sheer stupid genius of your work and how relatable it is, and go back to playing. You have saved me from broken controllers galore.

Good to see the colleagues of the Leyndell knights are vibing just like their pals in the Capital are.

The lost runes on the map, where the edge of the cliff is, is a nice touch.

I think when the poor guy gets faced when looking through the window feels most accurate to the entire experience lol

My favorite part of this dungeon is there was a corner where a few of us dropped a messge in a circle basically saying hello to eachother

Bravo on this one. The best yet. I would headline it as "Me trying to explain Elden Ring to somebody that doesn't even play video games."
