Masters and balorgh essentially are in the same area. One gives 600 one gives 500 and pen. Balorgh is just better

@@ryanarthurs6534 you need full 500 ulti to get the best of Balorgh though, master's staff will give you 600 damage 100% uptime. You already get Major&minor breach from shalks, more pen is not really needed with 5 light armor.

If you use Mara's S&B on your back bar it helps better than Ice staff when getting stam checked 👍

I'm using Ysgramor's Birthright and Mara's Balm with Bloodspawn and Death Dealers Fete. It feels better than Frostbite and Balorgh atm (though I'm intrigued by Sea Serpents Coil) but I'm using my back bar as a pocket overland healer in Cyrodiil vice strictly buff/defense as I'll never do BGs. So damage dealing isn't really the highest priority for me. I'm more focused on CC and support healing for sieges outside of ball groups. But damn I feel like a god among ants focusing frost on my Magden.

Isn't the point with running charged, not to keep up brittle/vulnerability, but to hit more frequent chilled procs? I thought the argument was that those chilled procs would be more damage than sharpened. I know Dragoo ran charged because he was also getting poisoned etc off the back bar dual wield with cloak (and getting pen with cp passive). Just curious! Not sure what to run myself.

Could you @hoarcrux or someone describe the burst combo in detail? I just created your build but I basically die instantly when enemy sees me, not sure yet how I'm supposed to wind up for a kill. Maybe most here find the burst combo obvious but not me, I'm not great at melee range PVP combat (but my bow ganker NB is pretty awesome), and they nerfed my fart cloud build... so sad!

I quite like your build. For back bar, wretched vitality vs mara, any idea about which one is better? Your mag recovery is showing as 2117, is that after potion buff? Do you have mag recovery enchantment on both your rings to get that number?

Depends on the food ur using. If you can afford smoked bear haunch then wretched vitality is not necessary. However you can get over 2k recovery is up to you. Warden is a very mana intensive class so your ability to sustain will vary from person to person

@@Hoarcrux nunatak can be good in the midst of chaos on flag modes which will apply major brittle. When they are immobilized by it it'll proc it an you can proc your North storm and every time u crit it'll just chunk ppl out it's nasty. Terrible for one's tho

I think your confused about cliff racer... you get the weapon damage no matter what. You will always get 100... you get 400 if you set someone off balance. Only reason why I say I think your confused is because I know alot of people think you dont get it unless you set someone off balance and it stacks so you'll be getting 500 damage for pretty much nothing and it usually stays 500 if your fighting outnumbered

I don't like it because you have to be the 7 units away to get the full effect and being off balanced. Plus its super easy to dodge. Plus there is no way to set anyone off balance on this build that I can readily tell

@@Hoarcrux Actually just did some testing with the bird myself, and it's either worded incorrectly or bugged. The bird sets a target off-balance, and then gives you 400 wp & spell damage every time, if more than 7m away. No need for a second bird. Loving the numbers when I move toward a fight with fissure, bird, masters, boom. But still, bar space

Due to the hybridization changes, no matter what resources the ability consumes, whatever resource is higher is what the damage/heal is based off of. The reason people run wepaon damage on DK is because you have access to minor brutality and major brutality

Imagine having a class that can play with 50k health and still kill people, Can use a tank weapon (frost staff) to reduce damage, that gets a free root, but also has maim built in and 2%more damage than a flame staff, trees for group, a burst heal that's also a HoT, free brutatity and resources..... but arguing that it's not broken. Forum crying literally made ZOS flip the rules of a weapon just because clowns wanted to be sub-zero.

@Alex Jobe I don't have any fealty for any specific class, I like and play them all, As with everything, it depends on the build, i'd wager if the Magden was running Mara's balm, Malubeth, trellis etc no one is killing it in a duel, conversely if its building into crit like Orders wrath/ acuity doing DB/meteor, shalk, dizzy they will be sending bodies to sovenguard just like any other class. The point in the vid about the "Broken" aspect is warden getting more damage on a Ice (tank) staff (12%) than any other class with an inferno (10%) while also boosting all their crit % Dk being "Tanky" with sustain is it's class identity same with Templar with heals/ shields, warden can be incredibly tanky but offers great group buffs/synergies, Heck I have seen Nightblades be anything from 19k health one shot gankers to 60k health unkillable Vampire zerg tanks but its class identity lends itself better to the hit and run class identity. Katie's post was just perceived hyperbole, they didn't post their build, they just screamed that mag warden wasn't a stam DK..... as if every build should function identically and all be immortal for zero effort, the number of guildies that run either Plague Doc/ Seducer with all mag recovery or Light Julianos + (New moon/Seducer/Alfiq) then rage in chat that DK's are cheating/I can't sustain/My heals suck compared to (A min maxed PVP) DK is unreal and will never stop happening because the game doesn't tell them how to make a PVP fit so they just use what works against zombies in Auridon.

@@lapinlogic6267 I still disagree with you on a few points, namely that the ice vs inferno staff is a bit strawman, as it doesn't I corporate the overall damage boosts/passives of the whole class to other classes and the actual tooltips of the skills, and a few other things. But mainly I have to say, what an outstanding comment. I'm not in full agreement, but it's a great argument.
