It was a cool idea but too ambitious to what they can provide now. Ezio would require them to completely change his fighting stance and all his movement animations. With For Honor having the budget of a burger and soda this was obviously a bit too far of a plan.

So as far as the debate of Warden's change being a buff or rework, I think its a rework. My distinction between the two in my view is the changes themselves. I feel a Buff/nerf is changing the values or properties of a hero, so they dont make a huge change visually, but instead change the feel of a hero. Warden's rework was a full on animation overhaul of all his post shoulder bash followups along with the hyper armor.

All he got is hyper armor after any attack following up a bash. This is not enough for me. Yeah sure they changed some animations but that's just visual. He still feels the same to me. I'd have love a dodge attack since everyone has one now, or a crushing counter on every way

The new moves for Warden is cool but, imho, this isn't a "Rework", he still fights the same, we just now all have a more reason to spam shoulder bash. I would have honestly liked a dodge attack.

I like the changes but they arent enough, for me the shoulder bash destroys everything about the swordmaster concept i would love to see in warden. Im still gonna play him tho, its a bit more fun then before

I'm kinda pissed they made a male hero skin for a female exclusive hero ngl, even though I like Ezio. Now the only thing they can do to make up for it is give us a female Shugoki hero skin!!

About the PK skin, I'm not particularly a fan of the Ezio Skin, but I'm more interested in what it could bring in the game if more Gender swapped skins will come.

Warden is still not fun to play. Terrible opening lights. Can be guard broken out of shoulder bash opener. Can only cc from top. Multiple levels of shoulder bash can be negated by dodge based characters. His opener animations are all dogwater, swings his sword like a caveman. But hey, he got hyperarmour if your bash actually lands. Pretty sure the new animations are just the minion kill animations but repurposed, which is a clever use but didn't require much budget. I have 44 reps in this bat wielding tin can and I can't remember the last time I had fun with him, he's just so barebones and clunky. I'd love if someone could change my mind on this. I'd say it's burnout but I haven't played this game since a bit after medjay came out. Also what the he'll happened to LB?
