Just a small recommendation the 7.5% elite damage aura won’t give you any meaningful breakpoints so you’re better off taking the CD aura. That 10% goes along way for the team.

@@zenpally It is worth having a loadout tab with one of the 2 other auras because most psykers run CD so you can still use the elite or crit chance one.

I did exactly that lol while I do value the elite damage mostly for myself (especially for this match) I can definitely see where CD helps more often for everyone.

4:09 - Venting Shriek already has insanely fast cooldown with Seer's Presence and 3 4% Cooldown Curios. Consider that while Warp Siphon _does_ improve Peril management that can also be done effectively with Battle Meditation. Consider also the tradeoff of taking Warp Siphon. Both Surge and Combat Knife when used by a Psyker that specs them right have some of _the highest_ crit potential in the game hands down. While Warp Siphon does indeed offer a 24% damage buff when Warp Battery is taken, that _pales_ in comparison to the massive 60% crit, 75% weakspot, and 30% regular damage bonuses you could get from Disrupt Destiny. These are _global_ damage buffs that apply to all of your attacks including Venting Shriek. Now, most Psykers will avoid Perfectionism because it's a pain to keep stacks up when they only last 4 seconds, but even with Lingering Influence providing half of that damage potential that's a ridiculous amount of extra damage throughout the entire mission. Surge is also commonly misunderstood. While it is true the Secondary attack has game changing utility against Crushers, Bulwarks, Maulers and Ragers it is _actually_ the Primary attack that deals the most damage, when Surge Blessing is taken with Nexus. This primary attack is overlooked by the majority of Surge staff users. This primary attack makes exceptional use of True Aim and will constantly crit, in fact it is borderline broken with how strong it is while Disrupt Destiny, Warp Rider, and Perfect Timing are active. It will absolutely _melt_ Mauler packs, Ragers, Shotgunners, Gunners, Flamers, Bombers, and Scab Shooters like nobody's business. Anyway, that's enough rambling from me. At the end of the day, if you enjoy your build and it works for you that's all that matters, just thought I would offer a different perspective since you said you were looking for a solid all rounder Psyker build.

@@stepheng3985 that power along with the Regen to toughness feels so good, when I made this and it all clicked I felt unstoppable. I used this build to finally snag my Auric Storm Survivor title. So much potential when you are in the backline of your team too, they bring all the hard hitters to ya.

Players should be aware that there's a small minority of the DarkTide playerbase that passionately hates Smite and, by extension, anyone who uses Smite. Most of them are clustered at the highest difficulties, and are complaining that they're already not very challenged by the game, and that Smite makes that worse. However, it leaks down into the playerbase. TL;DR - if you use this build, and get good at it, at some point you may stumble across someone who curses you out for no apparent reason, because some gamers are just that anti-social. Best response is to mute, block and move on with your life. You're just playing the game using the things the game gives you, and this isn't even remotely an exploit or cheat. (yes, this build doesn't use Smite - just a generalized psyker player warning, and an even tinier slice of the playerbase refuses to play with psykers, because reasons)
@zenpally21 күн бұрын
@@starbellygeek5408 I have definitely seen my fair share of people who crutch to smite to get by on Auric or even regular Damnation, while I believe it is strong and can be helpful in support of your team, it should also be used to strengthen the team you are fighting beside. I find that this staff in particular is helpful in learning why smite is strong - it can stunlock and stagger enemies to a halt. Learning when to stun enemies in place of saving allies or even yourself will give you a new appreciation for how powerful it is. That being said, I'm an old school Psyker player and I value my brain rupture w/ kinetic flayer way more than smite. But you are correct, Fatshark made this game and gave us the tools to do whatever we want to enjoy the game at our own expense and I hope others see that as players just enjoying the game they bought the way they want too.

any way to make a voidstrike staff build good? I've been trying a similar build but with the voidstrike but it doesn't seem to click very well, before the update it was my favorite staff and the best all-rounder imo since it dealt good damage and was basically a bowling ball against hordes
@zenpally19 күн бұрын
I have been trying to work on a build separate from this one with the voidstrike mostly because it lacks in close range capabilities with its damage compared to other staffs/weapons. I feel like they buffed other staffs since the past update because they lacked where the voidstrike didnt...I'll figure out something eventually.
@rylorthreev135319 күн бұрын
so far seems like the usual build for any staff, any weakspot hit can stagger any enemy and don't even need to be fully charged, could go with heavy crit or pure raw damage with more defensive nodes, brain burst combo as any other staff is good but you could go with assail as well for the "random bs go!" moments since the staff is a bit slow
@zenpally19 күн бұрын
@@rylorthreev1353 yeah normally I'd use Voidstrike purely for taking down crushers or breaking though reapers and causing staggers but I can't seem to match damage well enough compared to the voidblast or surge staff.

This is a strange discussion because it matters what you apply to your weapon regarding stats, but since I have a plus 3 stamina curios my dump stat was mobility to make up for that. It's worth dumping penetration as well since we get to rend anyway with Uncanny Strike which would substitute that as well. Looking over my blade, mobility and penetration are both at 70% while the others are 80% so I don't sacrifice too much.
