Great video elaborating almost all points except costing part. I am planning for L shape aluminium profile with glass sliding wardrobe. My available space is 8 feet on the longer side and 5 feet on the smaller size including wardrobe depth with 10 feet height upto ceiling. I am planning this space for wardrobe + dressing + study. Can you suggest - 1. Height of doors should include lofts or not. 2. If not whether lofts should be openable or sliding only. 3. Width of the wardrobe sliding doors. 4. Can you share the outer design showing wardrobe, dressing and study. Please also inform the prices. Thankyou in anticipation.

Agreed on steel almirah’s safety. In wooden wardrobe you can add small safe to keep valuables. Safe will be placed inside wardrobe but it can be screwed with back wall behind wardrobe.

Hi Mam, I have given my interior to nobroker. They will be factory finish modular wardrobes and crockery unit. But I think carpenter made wardrobe will be more durable and strong than factory made from nobroker? Can I go ahead and give it to a trusted local carpenter ? Please Reply mam. NoBroker team said they will be using mr ply for carcus and hdhmr for shutters.

You can use tinted glass with aluminium profile shutter. And main wardrobe structure will be with plywood. In this type of wardrobe structure cost will be different and aluminium shutter cost will be additional approx 600 rs per sq ft.

Both would be fine but it is advisable to go with hinged door considering 5 feet width. You can keep 3 shutters of 18" each and 6" side opening shutter for used clothes.

Yes, true. I covered that part in the "Bedroom Design" video. Here, shutters are planned based on current needs. Later, it can be used based on other requirements. Select outer finishes considering future aspects. Inner shelves would be adjustable based on needs.

Tip: Do not plan ever plan your wardrobe as a "children's wardrobe" as these children won't be children forever. Once they grow up, all these child related designs will be useless.
