I'm really glad you've stopped doing your hauls and you actually reflect your views within your content. As you've grown and matured i feel like i have and im not interested in buying for the sake of buying anymore. I'm going to go and re-haul my wardrobe now and see if i can re purpose any of my older and unloved pieces.

Love an actually "sustainable" fashion haul. So many talk about ohhh this brand is sustainable and this is sustainable but buying a lot of new clothes and wearing them once or twice is not as sustainable as just wearing great pieces over and over.

I am also addicted to wrap dresses. I loved this video! It was great to hear the history off all of the pieces. I recognized a few of them. It makes me want to look through my closet and sort everything out! I used to see a lot more and I keep meaning to alter/fix some favorite clothing pieces myself. But I’ve been procrastinated. This video is giving me the inspo I need to pull out my sewing machine

Love the way you address your decision to make a change in your own shopping. The fact is that KZbin and blogs are huge influences on purchasing and shopping - especially with young girls. The consequences of fast fashion on the environment are just crazy, so seeing you backing away from hauls is something I hope we’ll see more of from other influencers in the future. Your approach is so appreciated - not judging or preachy, which is often not the case regarding environment and sustainability. xxx

Great video idea! Sometimes just not seeing an item for awhile makes it feel new again, without spending money on new clothing. That's why I like putting away some of my spring/summer clothing for the winter - some of it could transition to winter outfits, but by putting it aside for a few seasons, when I bring it back out again in the spring it feels like a new item again.

Love this video! I don’t like to watch the high street haul videos any more & think this is very refreshing. I stopped buying things for sake of it over a year now & will only buy things I really need or know that I will wear a lot. I still have loads of things in my wardrobe that I’ve bought before that I don’t wear. You’ve inspired me to sort it out & sell things on that aren’t being used.

I love that you are sharing this, my own challenge for 2019 was not to buy new clothes and go second-hand first. Buy a few mesh laundry bags for washing more delicate pieces and belts etc - you can often pick them up in Lidl or Aldi and in pound shops, and they prevent damage in the washing machine. I also use mine when washing wool and cashmere blend sweaters and scarves - I handwash them, then fold each one into a laundry bag before putting them in the washing machine for a gentle spin cycle. No reshaping required. My clothes last for years because I look after them.
