A great series, Brittany! What I would like is more in-store try-ons with your commentary and thoughts process on why you would, but particularly, why you would NOT go with a particular piece, I.e. why it wouldn’t work for you. Not that I need to have the same ideas, but it’s the thinking behind the process that is useful, like the way you commented on the white skirt and how it would suit a taller figure. Love your style.

Something that's popped up recently in my interests, and I'm not sure if this is a current trend, is wearing thin cotton nightgowns as dresses/tops. It gets pretty hot in California so not as ridiculous of an idea as it may sound

Ooh yes. I saw someone wearing two Victorian nightgowns layered and back to front. So good.

Really enjoyed this video and how you structured the content with the different sections. I myself am having quite a moment with Issey Miyake's Pleats Please line. I find it very chic yet unconventional and it always adds an intriguing textural layer to an otherwise minimal, pared back outfit. I would be very interested in your thoughts on PP.

Funny you should say that, I have my eye on a PP dress! Next time I'm in London I'm going to try it on and will make sure to include some thoughts in the next video. 🤍

I have the Tabi boots and love them and also worth pointing out that I’m a size 18 and 5ft 10 so I have curvy calves and ankles and they fit really well, which is a struggle I often have with ankle boots. They are also really comfortable because the heel is wide so you feel well supported, so definitely curvy girl approved! 🤍

I have the same Tabi boots and notice the exact same issue with just one of the boots’ clasps coming undone! I ended up putting a cheeky bit of Velcro inside of the clasps so that they don’t keep coming loose, and it’s entirely fixed the problem for me while staying totally invisible. Love this series and hope to see more of your “tabs” every month! In terms of what I’m looking forward to wearing, I got the Row’s Siamese bag in a chocolate brown last year in a sample sale and never wore it in the fall! Hoping to style it with loads of neutral toned linen this summer…

Lovely video as ever! I've been saving up for a pair of the Margiela Tabi flat slippers. Definitely grabbing those soon. Additionally, I've just been wearing a lot of voluminous trousers with my fisherman sandals that I got from Clarks last year. I'm blessed to work in fine tailoring so I'm in the process of getting a double-breasted suit custom-made from some indigo Japanese denim. So excited! Cheers!

I love this - like all the delights of a magazine! I've had my eye (still) on the brown Gucci fisherman. I don't exactly know why this one appeals to me. Hi Brittany! I'm Jacqueline, a Canadian living in Tokyo and I have loved following you for years! I am totally into Tibi and their Creative Pragmatist style of chill, modern and classic. For my wardrobe I am working on incorporating different textures so that my outfits have interest and irony. Materials like linen, cotton, denim have been a part of my wardrobe for years but somehow feel flat sometimes. So I am trying to incorporate materials like crispy nylon, fine knits and tropical wool. It has been a game changer! You know... when you showed how the Tabi boots fasten it reminded me of the Japanese tabi (the ones that are worn with the traditional Japanese dress) that fasten with those same tabs! Margiela just reinvented that traditional look- so cool.

Really love this video format! Also the addition of the try-on was brilliant, think it suits the format really well and like you said looking through actual open tabs of products you have your eye on would be really cool as well (I very much enjoy the thought process that goes into buying and not buying products, like when you explain why clothes didn’t work for you etc would be cool with open tabs and why you haven’t bought certain things yet, style features that make you hesitate etc..). I personally really would love airy tailored trousers (like the ones you showed from COS, they have so many other great options in Lyocell as well, one is bright blue!)

This is a beautiful selection of pieces and I really appreciate that you show pieces that might not suit you but that you liked and think some of us might like. Love that jumpsuit and will keep checking if it comes back in stock where I live (and I think it would suit people of different heights etc). Definitely here for the summer tailoring generally and agree that COS is doing amazing pieces (not only trousers but definitely those) in this respect. The waistcoat is gorgeous, I did try it on in store and sadly it seems not to suit anyone who isn't flat-chested. Would love to see more videos like this, and also more of the new part at the end about things you already own. xo

I’m also really petite and (while there’s no COS in South Africa) I run into the same problem all the time and sometimes for something like this you could have a look at the “boys” section and maybe might be able to find something similar at either a thrift store or a store that has formal wear for kids. Maybe that might help.

First off I'd like to say I'm sooo happy to have found someone whos about the same height as me. There are so many fashion bloggers out there but your height, style, everything is my exact cup of tea. That being said, I think it would be nice to know what sizes you tend to try on because it'll be easier to imagine how certain shapes and material would fall on my body if I were to buy something similar. I tend to shop online more nowadays and I want to get better at predicting my sizes so I dont have to buy things in multiple sizes and send them back. It's tough shopping as a petit girl in Europe! Anyways, really loving your content as always and wishing you many sunny summer days ahead!

Great vid as always, Brittany. ♥️ Your style is impeccable, I very often use your looks as inspo and actually bought an electric blue knit from COS after seeing yours during first lockdown (sit-down-chatty-vid, right?). : ) I have seen very nice Fisherman Sandals from NEXT - yet in Germany there are no shops to touch and try on. I am exited to hear about your thoughts about CLOSED, because I love it and it seems to me it is more popular here than in the UK - maybe? Apart from that; no matter which format, I love these series. A mixture of try-ons and online inspo would also seem great to me. : ) Hope your allergies are better now. (Looks like it anyways.) : ) I had something similar last year on holiday and it was the SPF, which I do not wear on a regular basis at home. (Yes, how absolutely shocking.) ; ) I have swapped drugstore SPF for Cetaphil from the pharmacy. No problems with that. ; ) Maybe helpful for someone. Take care xoxox from Germany *rebecca*
