The circular crochet lace was probably a tray cloth edging. Cut off when the cloth got damaged. If you cut it apart to use, just dab a bit of glue to seal the threads together where you cut them, and prevent it ravelling.

I would wash the fabric. That piece that you think the red might bleed, I would add some white vinegar to the wash water and hand wash it. The regular fabric I would wash on the gentle cycle in the machine and dry using the dryer, That was a nice haul for $10.🪡🧵

So much good stuff! That needlepoint is amazing! Can’t wait to see what you do with it. I got some of those trims as well and I want to say I’ll wash them, but I know myself better than that. 😂 I did open one of the cookie tins and it was empty. 😂🪡

For those little scraps of lace/trims - you can use them as a stripe down your finishing fabric, rather than as an edging.

🚬📼💾📽How the neck is it I can find emojis for cigarettes, VHS cassette tapes, 3 1/4 floppy disks, and a two reel film camera BUT NOT a sewing needle!?!?!! 😅😅😂😅 My favorite was the second scarf, turquoise, and I enjoyed the voice over vs talking in store bc while I've never encountered a YT personality in the wild while thrifting I have to imagine it would be weird to hear that in public.

Great stuff! There are so many cool fabrics!!! I can’t believe u got all that for $10! 🎉 I don’t think it’s necessary to wash the trim unless there’s a stain u need to get rid of.

If you plan to wash the trims. Maybe just soak in the sink with a little bit of dawn and lay flat to dry. Thanks for sharing! ❤

🪡 As, well as the heart pillows - you could look at using the fabric hearts as applique on your daughter's clothes. Iron-on with decorative machine-stitched edging works as well as hand stitching - and is a lot quicker. And can be a good way to practice with your sewing machine.

I'd wash the lace trims (but that's me - there's no reason you have to). I handwash, and dry flat on a towel. You could iron the Broderie anglaise - but the rest shouldn't need it. I probably wouldn't wash the ribbons, since you want them to retain their crisp edges. I store my trims, rolled, in a shoebox.

I vote not washing because that takes away from my stitch time. I’m so jealous of your many places to thrift. Here in the islands, there’s not many places plus absolutely no LNS. 😢
