My Father is SDA. I accepted his teachings about the Sabbath and unclean animals . I contradict him only about the Trinity of SDA. Many years were not in the same interpretation about the True God and His Son Jesus . The scripture explicitly tells us that Christ did not have a mother, father, or biological descent prior to his incarnation. He had no beginning, and will have no end. A natural Son has a beginning, while within the Godhead the Son is eternal. The term “Son” is used metaphorically when applied to the Godhead, the deity. It conveys the ideas of distinction of persons within the Godhead and the equality of nature in the context of an eternal, loving relationship.

I have a question for those who are on the fence with their understanding about the nature of the One True God of the Bible. What is the greatest sacrifice God could give to fallen man? Would it be that God would offer to sacrifice himself? Or, is the greater sacrifice that God would be willing to sacrifice A TRUE SON. A SON BROUGHT FORTH FROM GOD'S VERY SUBSTANCE. A SON BEGOTTEN (born) IN THE EXPRESSED IMAGE OF GOD'S VERY BEING? It was this question God put on my heart many decades ago that made it clear to me that there was ONLY ONE TRUE GREATEST SACRIFICE. This sacrifice is well demonstrated in the story of Abraham being willing to sacrifice his son of promise rather than himself. For God asked Abraham to demonstrate the greatest sacrifice. And this was not a sacrifice of self but rather a willing sacrifice of a son that demonstrates the greatest sacrifice that God the Father would give to fallen man in the sight of the entire universe.

Thanks! You are right, Satan the same thing now as he did in the Garden of Eden. I have been reading in the 12th volume of the Seventh-day Adventist Bible commentaries where they're explaining the doctrine of the trinity. It's unexplainable of course because it's not in the Bible but it's amazing how they will talk about some scriptures where truth is brought out and then they will explain it away with fancy words and confusing sentences. "Hath not God said...?"

Couldn't find it in the SDA Pioneer Library. But I found a manuscript with a quote with those adjectives by EW dated 1896, then two others from 1898. (DA publication year).

So is Begotten the same as begat? It is by definition, and this being so we see in Genesis and Matthew that the so terminology that identifies sons being born is begat. As Ellen White stated Jesus was begotten/born of the Father. Came from maybe in such a way as Eve came from Adam. We don't know.

Well my friend im disappointed in your attack on Seventh Day Adventists. You seem to want to exalt yourself higher too. The aim in these last days on earth is to reach souls for salvation. There are differences of oppinion in the church but we must push forward as the end is so close. I also noticed u never once mentioned the Holy Spirit. This is not correct. Did you ask the Father or are you just going to man and putting your own doctrine together? Jesus is not equal to the Father. He said himself He did not think equality with God is a thing to be grasped as in how could one ever think they are equal to the Father? He also said the Father is greater than I. The son is not equal to the Father. You can be like God, and not equal, that's why Jesus is called the image. You can also be a human or an angel and be like God, but Lucifer wanted to more so replace God. Michael literally means one that's like God. The archangel Michael is like God, though He knows His position, and that He is not the Most High. Lucifer which his actual name might be Azazel was haughty as he was beautiful, very gifted...the mist beautiful of all the angels, and exalted himself and when you become that self righteous your natural action will be putting yourself higher than God. Look at why Babylon was built. Lucifer was divine...all Angels were. These people said they would be like the Most High in that they would have power and control over civilization, so they built all these buildings, false hierarchies based on vanity, religions, false ideas of beauty etc. The reason why Lucifer hated the Son is because He connects people with God and so they are no longer under the control of him and his fallen kingdom.
