This is so helpful, thank you. I have been struggling with a few set up issues and this has made everything much clearer

+MrJonnynil, I appreciate the feedback. It's great to hear that I'm able to help folks better understand how the game is setup. My hope is that it this is enough to get new players up and running faster so they can get into the good stuff - actually playing the game! Enjoy playing your copy!

Excellent! DVG should pay you for unmuddling the rule book! Don’t get me wrong, I love the game but they need serious help with their rule book. This explains so much; makes me wonder how you figured it all out armed only with the rules.

That was the best walkthrough of Warfighter WW2 yet. Thanks, it helped clear some stuff up. I purchased Gato Leader last year and just as overwhelmed, I don't suppose you have that game and can make some videos for the game?

@Brian Thompson, Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad it has been helpful. The next video in the series will be the actual gameplay so be sure to check that out. I don't have Gato Leader, sorry to say. I do plan on doing some video coverage of Hornet Leader with the Cthulu Conflict expansion if that is something that might interest you.

Looking at possibly getting this game and this was helpful. What are your thoughts about it?

If you're playing with multiple people, does each player get one PC soldier? Do they each get a deck of cards?
@boardgamerenaissance94027 жыл бұрын
Great question! Yes with multiple players, each person would get a PC soldier. Each player gets a hand of action cards (as PC soldiers do). All PC Soldiers will draw from the same large Action deck. Any remaining resource points would be used for equipment, weapons and NPC/Squad characters. Hope that answers your question.

There is a big advantage playing with multiple players, vs. solo, since you get multiple hands of Action Cards. I suppose you could, as a solitaire player, play multiple Player Soldiers and therefore have multiple hands, but that starts to become a handful (pun intended). I'm thinking of adding a house rule that says, when you play solitaire, the single Player Soldier has his maximum hand size increased by one for every NPS or Squad soldier on his team. Has anyone tried that?

Not sure what type of channel you are planning on having. Are you going to play through a mission?
@boardgamerenaissance94027 жыл бұрын
@Skidd333 - Thanks for your interest. Good question! I'm currently in the editing process for the gameplay episode of this particular mission. I tried to indicate the next episode at the end of this video. I prefer to break up the video coverage of this game into bite-sized 20 minute episodes. I believe this is a better format for most viewers and it allows me to maintain a regular release schedule. It also allows me to release this episode while I work on the editing of the next episode (due to be released next week).
