Also, Cascadia Flare is straight up better if you have Heat on any secondary that can proc status, compared to Secondary Merciless, because it has a bigger damage bonus that only needs to hit to stack instead of killing.

In terms of damage definitely is better but merciless gives you reload speeds which I find to be less annoying to use

Absolutely. The "bonus on kill" arcanes are really beginning to annoy me now. Such a chore. Whereas the status/proc based arcanes just flow smoother into gameplay. Dual Tox Incarnon with Cascadia Flare? Literally one of the best weapons in my loadout.

I can't believe that people are just finding out that the Akarius is good. The Akarius has ALWAYS been good, and the fact this thing has useable crit is absolutely nuts

One thing id also like to note about Akarius Prime, be careful shooting at long distance enemies in multi level zones bc the auto tracking of the rockets can sometimes lock onto enemies on lower levels resulting in them nose diving into the floor at your feet. A non issue if you have knockdown resist but still noteworthy.

I'm really, REALLY sorry, but this word is one of my pet peeves: "then" indicates time; "than" indicates a comparison. I'm sorry! As you can guess, english is also not my native language, but these two words (and three others) are my pet peeves. And I agree, I didn't expect Akarius Prime to be this good! I enjoyed the original one, despite its problems, and I'm so happy with this one! I'm even considering getting a Tau Green to play with the Corrosive/Heat builds you've been posting. That's how much I'm enjoying this version!

I have a rule regarding this: I only correct someone if they ask, or if I can speak their language as well as they're speaking the language I'm correcting (in this case, english). MC is Czech. I don't even know one word!! I only corrected because, as I said, it's one of my pet peeves. My comment about english is because of my name. I'm portuguese correcting a czech on their english mistake.

If you still have the bow, I recommend trying Cernos Prime again with the Internal Bleeding mod. It's one of my favorite weapon setups and a lot of fun since you've basically got guaranteed bleed procs, even more so than Hunter Munitions

The AoE can be bigger than it seems. Each rocket can lock on different enemy, spreading AoE around. The only downside that rockets aim at center of hitboxes so ability to trigger headshot arcanes is reduced, but not impossible.

If you like the feel of the akarius and want something that feels better from an ammo economy standpoint at the cost of the explosion radius, sepulcrum. It leans more towards crit than status, but feels pretty great having tried both.

Carrier does extend it by 6 rounds but still 6 extra helps side note if you want to sub hornet strike for a bigger damage buff by applying heat use Cascadia flare since it increases the damage by 480%

The regular Akarius is already great but only really on frames with lots of armor strip like Xaku and Hydroid. Hopefully this one is good enough for more general use

Cascadia Flare on these are just disgusting. Espescially as a Heat primer that scales to level cap for Gauss himself, fully disregarding faction mods, as you just need 82% Battery during Redline and tap Cold Thermal to delete literally anything

Why Akarius Prime is better than normal Akarius: - Has usable crit chance. Yep, that's what was needed for that weapon from being a bit meh to a solid alright.
