So what I’m getting at is that The Man In The Wall is really like some sort of cosmic entity that lives in the void, and that the Tenno actually gained their powers from making a deal with him? I wonder if a future quest will involve the Tenno reaping whatever the catch was to that deal?

Ballas calls the void "hell" it's almost like making a "deal with the devil" gaining extraordinary powers but at an unforeseen cost.

Warframe's current main story just wrapped up with The New War (Lotus, Ballas, Erra, the Sentients). Teasing both the next major updates Angels of the Zariman, and The Duviri Paradox. Both updates are going to focus heavily on the Void and The Man In The Wall. Chains of Harrow was an introduction to him and we have been getting slight appearances here and there of him, showing him or "it" to be a major threat, it's our next big bad. Whatever it is, it's either something from the Void, a personification of the Void, or a different entity entirely. All our questions about the deal, The Man In The Wall's plan(s), and our relationship with The Man In The Wall will start to be answered in the next major updates and quests :)

@@superfnliminal Angels of the Zariman dropped and we see those Void Ghost people and those Angel things that were once people like them. I wonder if that's what later happens to those who accept his deal, and the Tenno might be next?

the one on the right and left is ballas. the middle i think is nihil (the father of "mother" in demiso )

@@Emoangelplayscod666 Nihil is Gomaitru's (Eleria) father? No dude. Nihil was a prestigious judge/caretaker of the empire. Gomaitru's father is Albretch Entrati, the guy who discovered void jump that enabled space travel.
