Getting to the end made me feel like I was putting a younger sibling in his place. We didn't take control because we wanted it, we did it just to show him we could if we wished to. We could've stripped him of all his power, and instead we chose to give him a reminder.

The scene of the Mag springing to life on its own, as I assume it wasn’t being piloted, just to lunge at the fake Teshin gives me hope that each Warframe will potentially get the Umbra treatment and be able to act on their own while the player is in Operator form.

They actually had a devstream where they talked about this idea! It was called Echoes of Umbra, and you could pick frames to be imbued with sentience with the Helminth. Haven't heard anything about it in some time though, hope it wasn't scrapped!

I’d imagine it isn’t a technical limitation, as it seems like the framework for the mechanic already exists. Umbra is basically just a Specter, and Warframe Specters already exist. I’d imagine it would simply take a few lines of code changing to make these new Umbra-like Warframes use the player’s own weapons and mods, instead of using a default loadout.

Ok I've been gone for a while. Is this entire world just something the man in the wall created from that book Albrecht's daughter created? Where did Duviri come from?

Duviri was created by the drifter, the alternate version of you who, unlike the rest of the tenno, were never saved from the failed void jump. Within that isolation and limitless potential the void has, the story book created by Eularia, or mother in deimos, served as an escape for the drifter and in turn made it into a real place. The man in the wall doesn't own duviri but he seems to want to claim it for some reason, as it apparently used to be a lot bigger before a ton of it fell into the void
