Warframe: Equinox Obliterates Ascension

Gave Equinox Prime a run on Ascension in Warframe, and she did a great job dealing damage. I was surprised at how affective she was. I really have to explore my arsenal more often. Hope you enjoy. -- Watch live at / xdarkprimegamingx

@IPlayIntoGames Yes, the damage she does obliterates enemies' whether that be their defenses or by killing them. If there was no Dante, I'm pretty sure the eclipse and 600+ armor would have done their jobs. We would have done fine with no Dante. Thanks for watching.

Interesting take on Equinox here. Tanking in day form, you dont use her abilities a whole ton though. Her Maim is an afterthought here. Pacify and Provoke as well as Metamorphosis are completely forgotten. But she really is potent here, if anything you would be better off using Roar and leveraging your strength buff to be able to nuke more frequently. But i can see the appeal of Lunar Eclipse. I personally am running a Duality spectre and Silence with the Calm and Frenzy augment. I use Calm to sleep enemies when I'm in night and use Maim when I'm in day. Keep Silence on at all times and i dont really struggle too much. I dont tank though, i distract and evade.

I also have her at 250 strength with molt augmented, which makes it 310. That's why I went eclipse over roar.

Why all the strength if you don't mind me asking? Helminth version is capped at 75% which is met at 100 strength. I could understand if you used Rage, but from a usage standpoint I would advise building range and using the Calm and Frenzy augment. I've been meaning to make a Total Eclipse support variant of Equinox. Eclipse if put to the opposite Lunar for day form, etc. will cover your shortcomings. So I'm definitely interested, but you didn't post a build for us.

@@xDarkPx for shield tanking yes since strength directly attributes to the shield restore per kill in Mend, for Maim it only increases the slash aura damage from 150 to 465 in your case. Damage conversion is always a flat 75% of the enemy's health&shields. To better optimize your build around Maim build either Ability Efficiency or Ability Range. Or lean more into the survival aspect.

i dont see what you mean by obliterating ascension, you aoe 400k-3 mil with mend & main like 6 times the whole mission, she does a ton of damage but only once in a while. Pretty sure you got survival carried by Dante also, cause equinox is really squishy. I'm not saying to stop playing her but i honestly dont know where the "oblitaration" is. if youre MR 14-19, disregard my remarks lol.

I agree with the obliteration part not so much the survivability because she isn't no Banshee in terms of armor. The occasional room nuke is nice and all but the real time to be saved is deleting the sister quickly and the following room which is why most typically bring along a mesa to deal with both situations. Going up the ele is a matter of keeping the thing charged which insert any frame with the given weapons can do well enough.
