I just wanna say the following: as a new player who started a month ago (just finished new war and reached MR15!) and just finished my necramech, I dedicated 2/3 days to farming these tags and noticed the following: Some tags you will be looking for are for animals that spawn day/night only as well as some are cave only (deimos and orb vallis) and some are even more ridiculous and only spawn with lures AND on cave only. The most notable example is in orb valis where you need the syndicate leveled to 4/5 to get all of the echo lures, otherwise there's no way to obtain the tags you need for the mods unless you trade (which I ended up doing cause I mean, I rather use the standing on the bond mods as a beginner since they show up on the vendor at rank 3 syndicate)

you can find the aniamals that you dont have the tags for, its just a rare spawn for them

@@Jonnboyy not all of them, some orb vallis animals don’t spawn without pheromones and are locked behind level 4 and even 5 syndicate

Another tip: turning on the Ally Highlights in Accessibility makes spotting the animals much easier, whether or not you have the Tranq Rifle.

Thanks for the guide! Ugh!!! I hate farming Fortuna tags SO MUCH, because the animals don't spawn on their own the way they do on Deimos. The whole tracking/bait/animal calling mechanic is painfully tedious. I ended up buying the Fortuna mods for plat because I detest the activity so much, haha.

Highly recommend going to the accessibility page and add an ally color to be able to easily see the animals.

Use a Loki with Equinox ability subsumed, you can catch animals fast, i got all the claw mods in less then 2 hours

Posture mods (excluding elusive) currently have a bug where they automatically make your companion hostile to conservation targets.

I've also been using Ivara for animals/fishing/mining since few years 🤓 perfect open world farming frame

yeah i always did that or equinox sleep for perfect captures , using normal tranq rifle is really time wasting

Now that arcanes can be bought through syndicate points(buying vosfor), does this make arcanes worth less platinum? If so, i think that was their goal.

loki with subsumed equinox sleep ability is good 😉

Be carefull of using sleep effects instead of tranq rifle i find my character always performing a finisher even tho it says there ready to be collected lol so if you want to use sleeps always dart them after the ability. A nice alternative as well is the vitrica sword for those that have a hard time aiming you can glass them then shoot them.
