never used it for the slam since its obviously useless but the amalgam mod + shattering impact paired with flashing bleed and influence + riven makes it perfect for me especially since i use secondary a lot, i do gotta agree that it needs a buff just bc i want one lol

Furax could use buffs but it doesn't need them. Melee Influence+amalgam furax body count+Heavy/Light combo build+Melee Elementalist+Seismic Palm Neutral combo. Yes, other weapons can do it better, but it's not as bad as advertised. Warning:Do NOT build for afflictions or heavy slam build. You will be disappointed

I actually love this weapon, not because it's the best at any one thing, but because it's solid enough while having a whole bunch of nice utility that you can't fully appreciate in the simulacrum. -First, the heat zone gimmick basically doesn't exist. If you're going melee influence it gives you a bit of radiation crowd control and an extra CO stack. -Pausing combo count is a huge plus for me, especially on a weapon that buffs secondaries it's great for weaving in between gunplay. -I love the sprint/parkour speed, and the heavy slam efficiency lets me drop tennokai for dispatch overdrive. -The efficiency also applies to the heavy slam you use to enter incarnon mode (only works if you're the host😡😡😡) -Doubling up range mods or a range riven feels great thanks to 0.9 follow through. -Seismic palm (use this one!) neutral combo has a fantastic 774% dps, even higher than blind justice and sovereign outcast. A forced impact proc at the start and 300% knockdown at the end over just 1.6 seconds is great for melee afflictions, whether you choose slash procs on impact or extra base status with another DOT like electric. Movement speed, combo pause, almost free heavy slams, good afflictions and influence builds AND secondary fire rate buff. Unless I'm running endurance where I NEED the extra damage from the tekko or the titron's slams, why would I ever pass up all that utility? If I'm planning to mainly kill with guns or abilities then the furax and the praedos are my immediate picks.

The amalgam mod stagger effect is also really nice and can be considered another utility :)

lol - It's one of my favorite weapons. I still enjoy it though I have never used the slam attack.

Yeah no they definitely need to make mods effect the damage on those heat slam effects to make it like a mini ogris, also please buff the duration of the napalm effects, they don't last very long and the AoE isn't even good either. If they make it scale with range and crit it could actually be really good

it's best combo is with afflictions pretty much. It's a stat stick for secondaries otherwise unfortunately

Try and use a slam build here with galvanised reflex. With its trait, you'll reach x6 combo for incarnon. Inherit heat means you can go blast/gas electric for influence or just use afflictions. But we all know its really for that amalgam body count mod
