@@sekinafi29 stacks for Blood Rush/Weeping wounds/Gladiator set, increased multiplier for heavy attacks and some warframe sudo exalted abilities (like Khora's Whipclaw or Atlas's Landslide)

@@sekinafi29 It's also a straight up damage multiplier. It progresses up to 12x, which multiplies not just heavy attack damage (which consumes all combo) but all swing damage by that amount. Between the damage bump and the scaling of such mods as blood rush and weeping wounds melee builds are either designed to run at 12x combo or all the way down at 2x for heavy attack only builds.

After 6 hours of head scratching and fumbling about, it feels nice to see we've reached the same conclusion for the builds (except for the corrosive build. It never occured to me haha) since I'm fairly inexperienced with my understanding of game mechanics. Also the first heavy attack of the pointed wind stance will open up enemies to finishers so you don't have to use operator void sling (but you may have already known that and have mentioned it in the video without me knowing since I'm watching this on low volume with no sleep lol.) I've also played around with ash fatal teleport + marked for death setups with interesting results, what with the huge focus on finishers with innodem's evolutions. But, I don't have a properly built ash/innodem yet to fully commit to experimenting further. I would also like to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks for the content as always :)

I don't know if I'm just doing something wrong but, the heavy attack on pointed wind doesn't open an enemy for a finisher at all. I read on the wiki about finishers someone said that this feature was sadly removed, if someone can double check this please do!

The aerial projectiles are good in niche builds. Wisp is invisible while gliding and melee does not break stealth, so you keep the stealth multiplier. The Argonak also has a mod that makes daggers strip armor on hit, and the infinite punch-through is pretty strong when paired with a grouping ability like Khora's ensnare. Combining the two with aero vantage, you have a permanently invisible Wisp that can basically blast through stuff in Steel Path 9999.

The 5 combo on 10m slide is a free Naramon perk. You can do the occasional slide to keep your combo up in certain situations where there are no enemies. Also you can slide attack to launch yourself forward, making the slide not so slow to do.

during disruption in particular it's not unheard of to run out of enemies to hit while running to intercept a demolyst/carry the key across the map. that slide thing would be great for ensuring you intercepting a demolyst at full combo instead of being forced to ramp up damage again since that leaves a wider window for bad things to happen. if there was an exilus mod or aura that did similar I would probably be more than willing to slot it lol

Thanks for making this video to explain some slightly more confusing areas about the dagger. I was under the impression that aerial melee kill required either the projectile or the dagger itself to kill, but only status was required made it easier to use. And that the stun is basically total garbage unlike some are led to believe otherwise, so I'll switch that to heavy efficiency now that I'm well aware of it. Incidentally, I decided to not try the conventional light vs heavy dagger builds and instead went with a finisher build. Not the counter finisher nor the stealth finisher, but rather knockdown finisher that was much easier to use, since ragdolled enemies also counts as knockdown. So I had an idea to try Zephyr's airburst for that, and it works just as beautifully as I imagined it, grouped up and you can basically finisher on all of them with ease, no need to even use a single range mod. The only problem with this particular build are the units with CC immunity, be it overshield or just immune entirely (I'm looking at you, kuva trokarians, you fat bastards.) For those it still had to come down to DPS, of which thankfully innodem can take care of regardless. Plus, spectrorage can still distract them for a good bit so there's no great concern there.

Guys, I saw that a lot of people still dont know how melee combo works. Its not multipling damage of normal attacks - only next heavy attack. There are mods and some abilities related to combo counter, but in general it gives only damage to heavy attack

Good video ! Thought I could get a good build on aerial void wave since there is a bug on switching pistol and innodem while aim guide makes the attack speed of innodem insanely high and shoots many projectiles if you hotkey the melee with mouse wheel, so then the evolution on aerial 0.5m with range 0.5m can help on dealing another damage with stance. Well , anyway it’s a nice guide on the how should the weapon goes to be.

If you really like the waves mechanic, Ash Smoke Shadow augment can force it to do red crits without need of use Avenger. Nothing spectacular, but works.

The finisher damage carries. The finisher proccing heavy eff, the aerial melee passive and the finisher damage reduction stacks do not proc off Bladestorm. I have not tested if the aerial melee passive buffs it, but I imagine it would.

I wish they made the Melee's Incarnon Mode were just as unique as the guns. Like, we know that it's possible to change stances during gameplay, as seen with Teshin in the New War, so would it really be that hard for the Innodem Incarnon Mode to actually become a sword with a unique stance? @@Aznvasions it is just a straight 2.5x damage multiplier, basically for free, if it does work to buff bladestorm (not including steel charge and arcane fury which you obviously use on a bladestorm build), so i think it could be pretty useful, especially if you want to free up an arcane slot or that aura slot. As a stack ONTOP of those other buffs, probably not nearly as useful, but free damage is free damage

I actually think the Innodem is much better than the other melee simply because you can get it so much earlier, lowering the rank you can max out the laetum and the primary from rank 4 to rank 0. (i think? Either way you can do it on the rank you get the primary on now.)

You can use armed inspiration with something like a Nukor primer with ammo mutation and eject magazine to stack up gladiator set really fast for insane crits on Baruuk!

Ok, trying to be airborne Excalibur can be fun sometimes, but the waves Innodem produces are smaller than that. Which is hilarious, considering the range of regular attacks. Overall, great weapon, but it's upsetting to see weapons that should have the most diverse playstyles in the game being limited to one or two decent evolution choices. And also limited to the need of returning to Cavalero every time when you want to change something.

I have been enjoying the innodem but couldnt put my finger on what was bothering me about it. I think you nailed it. It's good but feels less flexible and less interesting than the first wave of incarnon weapons. I'm not enjoying the shotgun much either but the incarnon switching it to dual pistols seemed kind of meh to me from the beginning. Might just be a weapon that doesnt fit my playstyle

@@Aznvasions Amalgam Contagion Daggers have a purpose on very high range CC builds that need that range to not die. So ironically, you'd be doing the Amalgam combo with Inaros instead of finisher spam, as an example. Or Xaku. I see what you mean tho. You're better off shredding nearby enemies with it rather than using the projectile to strip from afar. It would be nice support for Range though, perhaps. Does it have more damage or status instances than Contagion?

@@Aznvasions ah yes, saw the text at the end and sad that it doesn’t seems to work, I was assuming it would… I’m still waiting for some adjustments. For example I really want to make Ash + Arcane Trickery work because it is just a better version of the second ability and then you can drop duration and helminth on his 2 instead, but the I think 15% chance to trigger is very low and makes it difficult to sustain when using other methods of killing as well. And some other finisher stuff to also apply like riven challenges and certain other things that interact with finisher.

@@leonsixt2744 I’ve heard that the +150% bonus does work, but have not tested it myself. The +finisher damage should, though +60% is very minor when finishing touch gives +300%. Though I just wanted to clarify that Bladestorm doesn’t proc stacks. The pinned comment actually has the full details of Bladestorm under the Addendum.

Put silence + savage silence over his 3 (or his 1 or 2 if you really want) and while smokescreen is nice for when it's not active, of you use bladestorm to do most of your killing, which it does a great job at with savage silence, you can very easily keep up trickery.

@@Vi74LiTy I use it actually for the majority of Ash builds and I kinda have to disagree that it is easy to keep up, sure it works when you play alone and deal enough damage to kill the enemy’s on the first hit (cause the bleed dots won’t activate it) but then you play a fast mission and meet people with the Kuva Bramma and or you don’t only kill enemy’s with your 4 or 3 it becomes pretty annoying to keep it up but yes when you play alone with Savage Silence and a Stat Stick it works very well. But from experience you rely on luck and you can’t just easily activate it . You need about 10 seconds for it to activate. Would be nice if they could buff it to 25% or 50% on finisher so it might also be viable on other frames than Ash.

the 10m stun trait is just a poor man's Endless Lullaby mod. Baruuk does a finisher and procs Lull every time he does so. Very interesting build if you want to build him for anything other than Serene Storm and Desert Wind.

on evolution 3 i use the slide combo to reset combo decay if im in a situation where nothing is arounds to hit (sure it can build combo fast but starting ready to go incarnon is handy)

Minor bonus. Noticeable, but nothing game changing. If you like bigger numbers, it's nice. But it doesn't really change much. It does not work with Bladestorm though.

The projectile doesn’t have an aoe, it’s more like shooting a mini arca plasmor. The projectile also has weird scaling for CO, but yes, it gives one extra status for normal melee spam if you want that.

I struggle to throw, it usually does a heavy slam.. might be because i'm on console but have to ask around to confirm... also i still think Ash Bladestorm should work like gloom does, meaning an area and everything inside it will be atacked by the clones might have to nerf the damage a bit but it would still be better than this because in a team with zarrs and brammas yeah its worthless.
