Example, I wanted to continue the story and play "The New War" but I needed a Necramech and a railjack, I didn't want to pay 375 platinum for the mech so I decided to farm all materials and pieces. It took me 7 freaking days to get everything I needed(maybe less if I didn't work), not only that, I farmed a lot with volt the isolation vault tier 3 more than 30 times and didn't get a single Damaged Pod. All other 3 pieces had a lot of duplicates but couldn't get that last piece. Had to resort buying it on the market with plat. That farming was so bad that after setting it to craft I saw that it takes 3 days to build, I didn't even play the new war. Didn't come back to play for 4 months. Started again recently because the new update is coming, if not, it would have been a year or more.

Back then it could be understandable to stretch content but with each update new grinds keeps piling up, if you are newblood goodluck.

Time gates ensure that even the most skilled players are incentivised to spend money. FTP games need to make their money somehow and warframe has remained relevant for a decade so they must be doing something to attract new players..

@@sd6gaming367 I still love the game,it just that the grinding gets too overwhelming sometimes. I gotta be honest, its one of the very few F2P games that I actually have paid for. Heck I payed around +$40 by using the $75 discount for plats. That 75% discount is very tempting. I just used the plat for many slots and all colors and a few pieces on trade that I couldn't get. What I think is that the currency in other games is either for pay to win where there are items that can only be obtained by paying, or just cosmetics, where in Warframe anyone can get the same thing(with few exceptions) be free or paid and if you want you can pay for cosmetics. Ps. If you want to have a high chance of getting 75% discount, don't play for a week or 2 in a row. I noticed that pattern a lot when comming back.

I don't know how much changed since I stopped playing but I vividly remember farming for way too fucking long for a farming character only to realize I needed to farm plat to get a frame slot so I can have a frame that makes it easier to farm frames that will make it slightly better at farming plat for more slots so I can have frames that can just actually play the game and have fun instead of farming frames for farming efficiency.

They’ve actually made it a lot easier. I can hit the standing cap for all 4 of the open worlds or whatever zariman is. Daily as long as I’m quick. Even the ones with two syndicates. Admittedly I think this is really only an issue if your goal is to get all the open world stuff. Like me who took a 3 year break and is just now trying to catch up on all my arcanes and endo needs.

About Orokin Cells: You can equip any sentinel and put into it a selfdestruct mod or whatever it is called. With each death of sentinel it can drop rare part means Cells. Much faster process than to torture yourself on an endless mission

going on tethys (on saturn, sargas ruk assassination) and kill the boss gives you 85% of times an orokin cell, and there are 3 guaranted boxes around the map that contain an orokin cell or 2 if u're a bit lucky, with a resource booster u can easily get 8-10 orokin cells per run (takes 5-10 min) (use a companion with animal instinct and a limbo to destroy every crate in a big area, or volt or..well whatever blows up things)

Plus if you use naturuk you can shoot through the boss at any angle and still hit his weak spot. Sometimes you can even skip the second phase if you get lucky and somehow hit his back spot before it opens

As a 9 year vet, this was hilarious. Also yeah, it's good to take breaks here and there and come back to more to do. I'll take 6 month breaks here and there, sprinkle some two month breaks and play other games. The burnout can come fast when it comes to WF, too much all at once can be overwhelming and a deterrent to new players as well, but the new player guide system has been doing ok at getting new tenno started. If only DE respected the time you put into the game and didn’t make it so that the boosters ARE STILL ACTIVE WHEN YOU ARENT ONLINE….this just makes it so that you feel like you NEED to hop online to get the most out of your boosters because you aren’t up every waking moment playing the game🗿 not only that but you have to take into consideration working hours and sleeping hours that aren’t taken into account for the “30 days”, so your 30 days all of a sudden becomes barely 10 because of the limited hours you put into the game👌🏾

Endo is easy to farm these days, just go to a Grineer Veil Proxima that has a guaranteed Derelict and bring a box-breaker like Limbo or Xaku. Between railjack parts, railjack mods, mission rewards (which have a decent chance to be endo), and the 15 endo that drops from each and every crate or locker you open, you can get plenty in a single run.

Ngl, I wanna come back to Warframe after dropping out, but I don't know how to do it. I don't want to sound "back in my days", but when the game was just about getting new warframes and sometimes doing story quests, I was ok with the grind. Plus, there wasn't as much shit you had to grind for, so you could focus on gameplay more. Now, I can just feel my brain burning in agony every time i just think about all the shit I'd have to do: the new warframes, the new weapons, the new regions and their bullshit standing, the kuva shit, the archon shit, the focus shit, the necromech shit, the spaceship shit, etc etc etc etc etc. There's just TOO much shit to do now for me. And the most ironic thing is, I don't even have the mental capacity to care about new warframes anymore. Even if I like their theme, there is just too. much. fucking. shit. you have to do to optimize a new weapon or frame. First you'd melting your sanity trying to get the goddamn parts, then you'd be stuck in agonizing hell of grinding for their crafting resources, then you'd have to level the shit up, then put potatoes into it, then there are these fucking mods that dropped from eidolons and spiders, then there's this fucking cancer chair on your ship, then they also added some fucking crystals, idek what that is, then have fun upgrading all of this shit AGAIN and AGAIN as you add the polarity shit. And none of it would still matter if you don't have some godly and fully upgraded mods. Jesus, just writing about all this stuff made me exhausted...
