Gosh... i just started playing again after 8 years. I used to be endgame.... now im at the royapolist, barely scratching the surface of the game. Then i find these videos... The true endgame. This didnt even exist when i played. Lol. Only customization we had was cabin colors. Amazing!

Thank you for the tutorial! I tried dipping my toes in orbiter fashion the other day by attempting and failing to clip a Zariman Wall Divider to the side of the wall the other day. I never realized the constrained movement option had that much impact. This video will definitely help me!

also take advantage of the local movement where it says "transform" going to local will make it so your decor will be able to clip easily so you can put items you couldnt normally place if you only used "world". Its hard to explain but youll just have to do it yourself to see what i mean. Its a big part of decorating, none of this would be possible without it

thanks for the tutorial man, i had like a basic setup with wood floors and walls and such but damn this is another level, got a question tho, do u mind if u one time show what console video settings you have? i tried changing mine but it either looks to bloomy or too basic colored, yknow? thx again

only ambient occlusion and bloom 60% is on. The reason yours may look gloomy is because having your orbiter fully decorated will make the lighting more prominent. If you return from a specific node itll look either nice and bright or grey and gloomy. For this lighting, you have to return from jupiter. However the gloomy grey lighting like from my previous videos, i returned from zariman node

you need to have some experience in clipping, look switch from world to local when your decorating like i showed

i gave up lol its too frustrating trying to clip things even with constrained movement cause it doesnt let you go past a certain point and i dont wanna cramp up my orbiter

I don’t know what it is, but when I place wall dividers over the side of my orbiter with the foundry it makes this weird shadow that disappears and reappears when I walk through it. Any known way to fix that?

I seem to be having problems with the constrained movement part. I get it to where I just need fine tuning, then when I press r for constrained movement the panel immediately goes dark red and I can't save any adjustments. I am just trying this all for the first time today so i'm sure that it's just a small trick i'm missing, but any help would be great c:

ah yes that happens sometimes when you try to stick a decor close to a deadzone. The way I work around that is to just grab it normally and carefully re place it. If thats not possible in your situation, try removing it and place it again.

It's possible on PC it's called constrained movement but I don't know what button you have to press on pc

Thanks, you need to learn the deadzones and how to work around them by finding a sweet spot where you can place it. It's hard to explain but you just need some experience with decorating. Don't try to go crazy with designs and just do some basic designs and build off of that 👍
