I feel you. I'm far from F2P but I make a point to grind everything I can. Bounty grinding is maybe my least favorite grind in the game. I can never seem to find a "flow" with them where I can just get lost in it. Relic packs are the only reason I have any aya income whatsoever.

I was f2p for years/hubdreds if hours untill after over 200 days of login bonus i finally got a 75% off platinum coupon. Ive olayed this game and enoyed it for so long i instantly decided to grab the 100$ platinum pack for 25 bucks. What a steal that was. Bought me and my gf dozens of slots and frame parts. Still have 800 platinum to spend as some of these prime parts decrease in price as they become more available during resurgence.

I didn't know this was an event! I just got back into the game around this past spring after not playing for a few years, so this is huge since I still need a good handful of the prime warframes and lots of the prime weapons.

Assuming you want a 90% chance of getting rare items in a relic (and assuming you get at least one of all other items in that relic while trying for the rare bits) you would need ~22 aya per relic, or ~16 if you only want to shoot for an 80% chance. Assuming every prime resurgence uses 6 relics to encompass all of the available sets, you would need ~132 aya (or ~96 if you're lazy) per resurgence group to nearly guarantee getting one of every prime part in that set. If it goes on for ~8 days, you can assume you need between 768 and 1,056 aya to get every item during the upcoming prime resurgence event. This would also mean you would need to gather as much as 105,600 reactant total to get every available relic to max rank... fun.

I've read a chart comparing every open landscape bounty and their stages and the chances of providing Aya. By far the best was T5 PoE bounties with an aggregate 80% chance of Aya per run, which according to the chart works out to a maximum of like 10 Aya per hour. If only the world were so perfect, I'll get a run with three Aya then like four dud runs of just one or zero, then I'll be completely burnt out of doing the damn mission for the day. Please DE, new good methods when?

Cetus is the best way to farm aya, you can finish bounties in 1:20 minutes with a good squad, even solo if your skilled enough

As of today, after Xaku Prime gets outta the oven, I will have all 59 Frames. I got the prime frames that are not available through selling junk prime items on the Warframe market for platinum, and then buying the entire prime frame set off of someone else. DO NOT spend $80 on Royal whatever tokens to buy prime times. With just a little bit of effort, you can get them FOR FREE, with the added benefit of having some extra platinum for cosmetics, and whatever else you might want off of the store. DE is absolutely deserving of every dime they make off of prime resurgence. But for those of us that don't want to spend ridiculous amounts of money on Warframe we probably won't even play that much, just to fill out our collections and get the MR off of.... do yourself a favor and use Warframe market. EVEN IF you were to buy the platinum and buy the set of a Warframe off of the market, you're talking about playing something like $10-20 bucks less per frame. Be smart!

returning player here and a bit confused about the "hype" of prime resurgence stuff. Might be because I come from playing path of exile but you can simply but all the prime frames, etc. from other players for pretty damn cheap already. its at most 1-2hours of farming some plat and you can buy any of those frames. so it seems like such a hassle to grind all the aya and buy the relics to farm yourself if you can simply farm other stuff and buy all the frames at any point. Or am I missing something? Or is this more of a warframe community/playerbase thing of wanting to farm stuff on your own without trading?

@@galliago oh for sure if you want to play SSF style being able to grind it yourself is pretty useful for sure. Since WF doesnt have specific modes for it I dont know how common it is that people play selfimposed SSF when they are able to trade. If i play trade in poe i would feel stupid to grind for something for 10hours + if i couldve simply farmed anything else for 1hour and bought it. Especially if the content you need to grind can be annoying and there are other fun options you could do instead

I think the highest i paid was 120p for xaku prime (god was it worth), most frames cost between 40-80p for the full set from all the ones i bought. and 40-80p is farmed so so so quickly.

@SeekNeo you can advertise it in trade chat, they would then tell you which relics they wanted and you'd buy it with the aya. After that it's just trading the relics. So you're not wrong but I rather say 'trade aya' over 'trade the relics bought with aya'

Deimos and doing Tier 5 Brute Force bounty, either from Mother in the hub, or completing/failing the Tier 5 given by her (fail or move away after getting to the first waypoint) then finding a Mother in Cambion Drift that gives Brute Force

Stop studying during the evenings when your brain doesn’t want to study anymore. Seems obvious but it took me a good couple weeks by a long time Vet of the game reminding me to understand that regardless of time of day the game’ll still be here. So I shouldn’t spend my day time playing Warframe when I know I have Life events that require my attention more. Since you’ve got an examination period. Just farm enough Aya for a solid amount of relics for the prime for the frame you enjoy above ALL OTHER frames. I recommend this as you’ll want to be spending most of your time making sure that study is happening. As Warframe is a relatively hard game to put down once you open it (At least for me it is #addicted ) Also remember that you have the “Last Chance” thing. So you don’t even need to worry about missing the rotation. Just get Aya casually throughout your study period. I honestly ruined my study period by continually participating in “limited time” events. They’re limited for a reason. Also also. The event BEGINS on December 12. Nearly 20 days for it. With 2 frame options per week and 41 Warframe’s. If it’s like last year this event goes for 10 weeks (20 frames) with the rest being offered in the Last Chance. You mean to tell me you can’t spare at least half those evenings? Across 10 weeks?! Even just an hour farming void missions for a handful of Aya. I hope you’re kidding about not taking a break. 10 weeks is a long ass time before the “Last Chance” so just get your Warframe primes & weapons then.
