That speedy frame is Volt and no, the speed boost is definitely not his only useful ability. They're all quite strong although I think people only use his 1 if they have the augment that lets them grant electric damage to their weapons. Not sure which frames you've unlocked so far, but Valkyr isn't really a good representation of how strong most frames are. She's very old and is in desperate need of a rework. Some people like her, but to me, she's probably the worst frame. It wouldn't surprise me if she's next in line for a rework (although some people think Oberon is worse, so maybe him). Also, totally get what you mean about how doing normal objectives feels disconnected from the story in this quest. IMO, this is a weakness of Warframe's earlier quest design. You've probably played quests you thought were better that came before this one in your playthrough, but they would've been much newer as far as when they were actually developed.

Exactly. I made a video where i mentioned the objectives and thought main missions would have varying types or at least ones that corresponded to the mission dialogue. Why am i playing a defense mission when going through Lotus backstory? I really liked Heart of Deimos quest design and i'm not sure if it was made before or after but the quality of it outperforms this one on a mechanical level.

All akimbos are secondary unfortunately. Primaries have a greater variety of alt-fire/-fire mode gimmicks though.

Some Prime weapons and warframes are genuine meaningful upgrades but many aren't, so when it comes down to it its really all about how it looks/feels and if you just like the thing and want the best version warframe is all about the mods yes but, the equipment's base stats effect how hard mods scale them for Warframes its all utility and survivability Shields, armor, health, energy all other stats are identical for Weapons all stats can go up with an upgrade potentially making the entire modding experience smoother, although theres plenty of times where it still isnt a big deal Braton - Braton prime is a great example of it being a solid upgrade that's not a must have 11 more damage (24-35) same crit chance stat (12%) a slightly higher fire-rate but a huge status chance boost (6%-26%) the extra damage is laughable when mods come into play, but 6% status is nearly unuseable even with mods, where as 26% status chance is solid on its own and scales really well with mods. making the prime worthwhile if you like the gun

None of this is spoilers its all a recap of poorly explained lore up to the natah quest, apologies for the essay -Lotus is meant to be your handler yes, also a mother figure to all tenno. -Teshin is meant to be a mentor to the tenno teaching them how to fight (the idea behind conclave pvp) you just never see him in a quest till now unfortunately This quest is about The Lotus' past when she was known as natah, daughter of The Sentient's leader Hunhow -Sentients are Orokin-made adaptive robots who were created to prepare a new solar system's planets for them to live in (Tau) the as current one has been nearly destroyed with things like pollution and The Infestation on the loose (hive minded zombie race that can take over anything if left to it) -The sentients are called this because literally they gained sentience and realized that the orkokin suck and ruined the origin system and would surely do it again -Sentients decide to fight and exterminate the Orokin (old war) -The Orokin used Grineer (cloned, expendable, soldiers) and Dax soldiers (Teshin's warrior caste, a sort of high guard) to fight back at first. -Didn't work well. boom they make warframes, Orokin win but the warframes turn against the orokin just like the sentients did killing most of them -time skip to today Tyl regor a ridiculously intelligent grineer researcher starts picking at the "tomb" of the sentient leader to learn about that now ancient tech) -We learn what lotus really is a sentient warrior who was tasked to destroy all warframes but decided not to (+) -The Corpus are essentially a money cult. They were orginally common folk often impoverished but they now follow the teachings of Parvos granum founder of the Corpus Faction (A charismatic man who made himself and his supporters very very rich quickly) Corpus now control a significant portion of livable areas without the Orokin present -Solaris are regular people who are deep in debt often having their limbs taken away as payment -Ostrons Regular people who worship the Unum a living Sentient tower that protects and feeds them (they eat the tower regularly) -Entrati Now infested Orokin family of the infamous Albrecht Entrati (with Mother being his daughter) -The Orokin Deeply Corrupt Human Nobility who could've lived forever due to certain technology That Concludes pt.1 of my Schizophrenic Yappathon about funny space ninja lore. It all makes sense when you lay it out but for some reason when i play i have so many questions. I generally pay attention and the details from each mission is just a puzzle piece to a set i haven't found. I really didn't want to look up a lore video until i completed everything that is currently out, story-wise.
