Im constantly asked by newer players im helping out about what build is the best/ why do i keep dieing with "meta" builds. I keep stressing knowing how to upkeep abilities, your energy, and being aware of the enemies and status effects around you will protect you better then just running a "meta build." Its like owning a ferrari but not knowing how to drive; its never going to end well. You always explain this so well in your videos so I keep refering my friends to your content. Again thank you so much for the effort you put into your videos and the uniqueness you bring to your builds.

i just formad my saryn up now, farmed the mods i needed, and subsumed mesa.. i just tried the finished build and dude this is insane and fun.. so much survivability in SP, i love to play saryn but always died so fast in SP but now it works way better!!!!! I made a very similar build, with Defy instead of Miasma. The spread of spores is astounding, and the amount of saves you from many fatal moments. Ironically I subsumed Molt on Wukong 4, so that he has a full survivability kit now.

i just can't see myself ever using shooting gallery over miasma on Saryn. Never ever considered shooting gallery for her TBH. I personally like to use Oberon's Smite instead of Molt (because i never use Molt) with its augment Smite Infusion and for Spores i also use Venom Dose augment. With a full strength build with this alongside Toxic Lash this gives me 3 insane Buffs to Viral, Radiation and Toxin damage which as a result just melts everything, especially against greneer. Add to that Growing Power aura and its insane damage increase

Love the content. Love the new format where you actually demonstrate the build. One suggestion for you tho. Relax on the mouse overs, opening the mods one after the other makes it extremely difficult to screenshot the build. No one needs to read the mod they are listening to you explain it, just do something to make the build more accessible. Or you could include the build in the description, perhaps links to screenshots or something. Keep up the good work!

great vid good to see the ol shooting gallery/muzzle flash still goin strong. just got to say one thing and i know its not a HUGE deal but corrosive projection DOES stack with spore/corrosive procs. the aura takes armor off the top of all enemies in the mission upon which spores/corro procs remove up to 80% of what's leftover. does it make a huge difference? no not rly, but if you are trying to squeeze out a lil more dmg, it will allow you to do so. keep in mind the way armour scales ~1k armor is 78% dmg reduc ~2k is 87%, ~3k is 90% and then jumping to ~10k is 97% a 175 heavy goon has ~10k ish armour, if you max corrosive stack it that 80% takes it doen to ~2k so its 97% reduc turns into ~87% reduc, so there's still a lot of armor there numerically speaking to strip away. again this isn't a huge amount of of damage increase, but it is an increase. i personally don't run it because i agree its unnecessary , again I'm not saying you're wrong saying its nigh pointless but it does technically add dmg(ergo point), tested in simulacrum while making post to also confirm. Sorry for long post here's a fish

dont you think that if u are using rolling guard your molt is pretty much useless ? i think you would optimize your build way more if you put the mesa ability in your 2 slot instead of 4 and also the viral procs from your 4 are a good over all damage booster since they synergize so well with your spores. Correct me if I'm wrong with this one

Personally I can get away without using rolling guard at all, I have the right efficiency and auger mods to be able to use molt and get overshield from none, and I run breach surge over saryn's 4th

After trying this on saryn (i main gloom wisp) it is better IMHO than using the blind from media's ability and allows you to have an additional slot instead of the mesa augment. Also, instead of narrow minded, i replaced with fleeting expertise as I dont have primed flow or p sure footed. (I started playing almost 4 months ago) here's my build. Aura: physique Eximus: Pain Threshold Flow, augur secrets, blind rage, rolling guard, stretch, p continuity, vitality Fleeting expertise

I thought armour was capped only for corrosive element(?). And armour reduction from multiple sources stack multiplicatively. Like heat and corrosive together strip a total of 90% armor(heat strips 50% of the 20% armour left from corrosive). And similarly for corrosive projection as well. Correct me if I’m wrong but this is how I always thought it worked. Edit: I thought gas doesn’t go through shield anymore(?)

Yes only toxin seems to do it now. I've noticed swapping pure toxin vs gas on sister farming missions, in the first case I was hurting the shields before the health (blue numbers), while in the second I was completely bypassing the shields and hurting already the health (yellow numbers or depending on the critical level).

It’s because gas used to apply toxin DoT those days. Now gas DoT is a separate status by itself, which doesn’t bypass shield.

So the DAMAGE of saryn's 4 falls off at higher levels, but any enemy under the effect of the 4 (the viral proc from it) when killed will spread spores like a first progenitor cast. It's the best way to keep her spores up during endurance, way better than the "utility" of her 2, all of her abilities are strong, but if you want to helminth, take away her two, its the weakest at maintaining her dps.

@@KnightmareFrame you just have to watch enemy group health and use it at the correct time. It's basically a re-cast of her 1 on every enemy in the radius without the reduction in stack damage that a re-cast causes.

Replacing molt keeps your dps higher, if you know how to keep your survivability going then its a better choice. If you care less about keeping her spores active and propagating all the time replace her 4

Honestly I know that explaining things is probably exhausting for you but when you say things like “just put on primed sure footed” “just use exodia contagion if you want” etc etc it’s ridiculously annoying to me as someone who started playing about 2 months ago and these things are basically impossible for me to get “just play the game for 400 days” very understating how rare some of these items are. Those are called overshields,overshields,it's a point in shields where you get more or max than your regular max shield count,and not taking dmg is because when you take more damage than your shield can handle it doesn't damage health and then you get another shield which guards you again,this is called shield gating

@@ThomashowardX try nezha with it and kuva zarr. the 3rd ability gives you 95% dmg reduction and kuva zarr completely destroys 10-15 enemies easily after galvanized chamber is stacked. if you dont have a proper build on kuva zarr i recommend put on galvanized chamber, the standard viral mods, crit chance and dmg, with hunter munitions, serration, primed firestorm and vigilante supplies/ammo mutation. about 5 forma required.

@@ThomashowardX what I do is I use the auger mod set with Limbo and use the augment (rift torrent) and use taxon (companion) for free oversheild, 5000% dmg boost and immortality juuuuuust incase I feel threatened or wanna be lazy in fissures. Oh and I also can freeze them in place and for at least 3 lifetimes (not like they'll last that long against my zarr lmao)

I subsumed my Mesa as I got the prime. It was sad. She was my most played and now she is a flower. Gotta say though, SG is a fun addition on my range/duration frames without having to change much at all
