If you groupe enemies , armor strip them with trerrify or othe methods and then break the glass wall they intantly die

You can actually Crit with shattered lash, it just requires you to add flat Crit Chance buffs like the Adarza Kavat and Arcane Avenger. Using those two and Crit damage mods on your stat stick allows you to build up damage on her splinters much faster and makes her lash a mini whip claw

you _can_ crit with shattered lash itself, however, no matter what you cannot crit _on your mass vitrify,_ so running a crit setup makes the touch of death from your 2 build up slower.

Blocking is a quick way to build up combo, which in turn produces 3.5x damage .

@@WispGraxx right but shattered lash's crit mult can be increased say to 1.9x if the stat stick has organ shatter on it. But again, this is still useless for a touch of death build.

This mod is more powerful than you can imagine. You could already nuke with Mass Vitrify + Shattered Lash, but now you can nuke even harder because everything that doesn't survive the first blast gets a massive debuff on them for the follow ups. Also, since Gara can now buff her Splinter Storm while inside Mass Vitrify, anything that survives the first blast will also take progressively more damage if they get close to her, while also getting frozen by the next mass Vitrify, which also debuffs them. Oh, and the Cherry on top, every Mass Vitrify blast will also put the Splinter Storm buff on teammates and defensive targets, which is great since before she had to do it one by one by manually aiming it. TL:DR Gara is now an infinitely scaling nuke that will also give her teammates one of the best defensive buffs in the game. Step aside, Saryn, there's a new best girl in town.

Mending Splinters is such a let down of a mod. And the sad part is there's an easy way to buff it to guarantee people would use it: give it either debuff or stagger immunity/clear while under its effect. Really, I'm honestly surprised that Gara DOESN'T have an inbuilt way to minimize stagger, considering her signature weapon, the Astilla, is a self-stagger weapon

If we're looking at specific frames, have you tried a Zephyr build that uses the Boreal mod set and other mods that reduce damage taken while airborne? I'm a Zephyr main, and while I know she can be rather frail without her 3 active, this build helps to alleviate the damage she would take from everything that ignores that ability. I've run this on Archon quests without any problems, and it helped me clear out Steel Path where my weapons may not have cut it.

I know a lot of people will call it useless because it doesn't turn enemies into self killing blenders. But the fact you can hit an entier room with a 200% extra damage debuff makes me and everyone in my party smile.

the damage of her shattered lash also scales with combo counter as well, you will do much more dmg and stack up way faster with 12x combo!

I did 25 minutes in steelpath survival and my gara was doing 24 million dmg I was using eclipse on my build. With a 300% dmg buff. I was not using shattered storm .

This set up with a higher stat stick than yours wasn't able to survive for more than two 5 minute intervals on Mot survival Steel Path before getting one-shot by some mob. This build and this warframe aren't duplicating the results I see on your play through ...

Gara should be able to go well beyond that with only 90% DR and no shield gating. Instead, you could try Pillage and using that as a HP pool and shield gate.

How do you keep your Splinter Storm up? I see the duration ticking down then going back up, how does that work? When I play Gara I can never get my 2 to last nearly that long and it never resets likt that, so I can never get the damage very high

@@SamanthaLaurier There is a bug that sometimes when you cast 4 while moving (falling etc) it doesn't track you as being 'in the ring expansion' and doesn't refresh the timer. If you have energy problems, try using Streamline and Fleeting Expertise for 175% efficiency.

heres my cold read i'm only a minute in. when you break your 4 with your 1. enemies struck by the shards a 2 placed on them at 100% strength. now lets see how it works

this is Gara's 2, giving you damage reduction while damaging the enemies around you. the damage can stack indefinitely so you can theoretically deal 10 billion damage per second.

Running adaptation on top of an other 90% damage reduction gives only a few more % of damage reduction when its fully stacked. If you want to gain way more EHP you can use arcane Aegis (but that only works if you are constantly taking damage since proc chance is really low) or just get more shields or HP, but using vigor instead of adapation here is more valuable, considering you will have 99% uptime on Splinter Storm.

Basically the augment makes enemies more vulnerable to damage if they don't die from the explosion... in a huge radius. That's a really good augment.

@@matowakan Primed bane mods are 55% for only one faction for only the user and are a few of the most sought after mods, while this augment is for all the enemies around you and your team gets the damage buff as well. also these two are not mutually exclusive so you can use a weapon with bane mods and get an extra 85% damage on top of the other damage mods and abilities.

@@jaywu4804 dmg vulnerability is not the same as a bane mod. Dmg vunerability is like armor striping, while bane mods double dip in the weapons existing dmg. Also even at sp my gara and weapons are doing way more than enough damage, sacrificing a mod slot for 30% dmg vulnerability actually makes my build worse.

@@matowakan its not just 30% vulnerability. Its 35% base affected by power strength. Gara is typically running at least 130% strength for the 90% dr so its 45% vulnerability at minimum. Against everything. No mod swapping required. Next, I need a source that damage vulnerability doesn't work like bane mods. The multiplier description on both is the same on the wiki. Slash should theoretically be multiplied by the vulnerability, and the bleed should then be multiplied by the damage vulnerability. The mod is great but fair. It's pretty ridiculous that anyone in their right mind thought DE would put in a mod to make Gara be able to nuke a giant area for millions of damage. Did you people really think they'd enable a single mod to AOE afk with energy pizza's? Seriously? The mod would've been worded more clearly then "suffer for 100% stength" if it just straight up did splinter storm damage in an area as well.
