@@TheDsIEGE This would be a stretch because this would be fiction crossing over into reality- so in all intents and purposes it would be one of those fun videos- delving into “The God” in Warframe. As it is, it may be worthwhile to reach out to some of the developers to ask them for answers, responses or time to verbally question them on “Wally” to see what they say. Religion and beliefs are barely touched upon in this game yet it’s an underlying theme behind Ballas’s words and actions. Remember he’s obsessed with Margulas and with being loved- but the attention and adoration of the people wasn’t enough- because the Tenno weren’t among those of his followers. This is my take on it anyway- I could be off. Wally on the other hand seems content to stay out of the picture largely or is unable to BE IN the picture- which is largely even more horrifying when you stop and ask yourself just how many forms Wally has or what else he can do. Remember the towers floating in the void that “We” the Tenno raid? Yeah- there’s something there that’s bugging me- but due to the lack of information (or I just haven’t found it yet) I can’t do much but speculate on what’s out there and how this is all involved with Wally. Now what if Wally is like an eldritch beast like the Eldrazi? Specifically Emrakul from Magic the gathering is an excellent because “She” literally warped the denizens, the environment and even the celestial beings on the plane of Innistrad (the more recent innistrad trailers depict the transformations occurring if you’re curious at what they looked like)…. However there is no warping or changing of the physical appearance so that means Wally could be more like the Black or Red Markers in Deadspace but obviously “He’d” be more than a signal converting and making others go crazy. Also he seems to have no interest in dominating as the Brethren Moon tried to do as well. Those are fucking horrifying too just because of the end in Deadspace 3 when it’s revealed “What” they are and then again in the DLC when you see 3 pop up into view and everything fades to screams and to red. If anything, fear, horror, domination and control seem to be absent, just there to be pacts and promises of some kind……
@daydreamdirty Жыл бұрын
@@TheDsIEGE However this is important because I believe that while there is a creator of our world, that there are multiple “spiritual” entities living as well. They play a part in this because as we know- this universe and galaxy could potentially go on without ever having an end…. @@TheDsIEGEWell I didn’t realize that the lotus helmet was a proto-narmor veil of sorts- but I can see Kuva being used to help sway or hold those who wore it under it as a captive of sorts. First it allows others access to one’s consciousness- and for most purposes- others… so that one person can hijack the body of another. Second- here with the Kuva being used as I stated above- to hold or bind others.

Superb study. I’m reminded of my frustration with the franchise back in 2014 where I saw the potential for Steve’s grand story but it was shrouded by “ninjas in space” shenanigans. Now, a decade in the making there are no truer words than “We end as we began”, both a homage to George Lucas’s Campbell saga and an allusion to a great quote from the Hagakure (Form is emptiness/Emptiness is form). An aside: Ballas has always toyed with his warframe proxies and Margulis’s Tenno. In particular to connive the Operator/Drifter to be an unwitting courier to smuggle out the Paracesis, past the watching eyes of Natah and Eris to have the weapon needed to exact his final revenge against Natah and the Tenno. Final thought: I view the Indifference as the separated inner Shadow of humanities collective unconscious. Entrati was simply the first to give it something to emerge from and to serve as a nucleation center. The Operator, being younger, gave rise to another Void entity, but one that was less polluted by a lifetime of poor choices and regrets. A juvenile trickster rather than an Eldritch horror that Entrati let lose. In the end, the message of Warframe may be that there are no gods or demons, only humans acting - willfully or not - as either and both.

So... Is Ballas considered the Brutus, Caesar or Cleopatra in the far ass future of Warframe?
@shauntempley97573 ай бұрын
None of those. He is at most more like Pompey in history. Pompey is the one that tried to betray the Roman Senate during the Republic, by bringing his legions into Italy, against the law. Like how Ballas tried with the Sentients. Ceasar's entrance into Italy with his legions was in response to what Pompey did, and starting the civil war to stop him for good. Remember, Ceasar first met Cleopatra during that campaign against him. The Lotus and the Tenno were Ceasar and his legions. Ceasar would also die at the hands of some of Pompey's soldiers on the orders of his two top generals. Which triggered the next conflict, where Octavian and Antony come in to the history, which ended with the rise of the very first true Roman Emperor, when Octavian changed his name to Augustus. Except, instead of taking 10 years to kill off Pompey, it took 1000 years to kill off Ballas.

So here is a question, do you think "Margulis implantation intact," means, as I used to think, "the technique by which the Tenno transference into Warframes, as taught to them by Margulis?" Or does it mean, "implantation of memories of Margulis are intact within the Tenno." Or do you think its part of the helmet "implantation of Margulis' memories within the Lotus." I just wonder at the device origin for the message. The Orbiter, the Warframe, or Lotus/her helm. Is every mission technically the Lotus driving the Tenno driving the Warframes?

Kinda makes sense that Ballas got mad that we weren't willing to to bow to him in the New War. This whole "but not them!" Scene didn't make sense to me at first. But this video made me think: we were supposed to be the adopted children of him and Margulis. With the Lotus refusing to be the Margulis he loved no matter how hard he tried and instead embracing the Sentient she is after Ballas broke her free during the Apostasy prologue. Ballas might have accepted that he can't control us and can't have Margulis back. So instead he wanted us. He wanted us to kill the Lotus and side with him. But again we refused. After both us and the Lotus not falling for his manipulation, he instead went to Erra, who is much easier to manipulate, and tried to manipulate the Lotus through him. That didn't work out either so he went for a whole new plan, which is killing her and using her to bait us and kill us too. Both of us survived in miraculous ways. And we wanted us both to love him. Everybody gave in to his manipulation through the Narmer Veils and Kuva mirrors. But not us and not the Lotus. And the narcacist he is, he couldn't stand the idea that someone wasn't willing to love him.

His destined plan may be to free this entity as if they are a god figure to him by pulling strings on the Tenno and other factions alike to get the pieces he would've need.

@@TheDsIEGE I do agree with the ruse, I even like the idea of Lotus helmet being a prototype Narmer veil. I just don't believe that it's Balas using our memories for this little part, mainly because at this point we no longer have a transference bolt, it broke in War Within and now we are using our own transference powers to do everything at this point. So it is more likely that it is Wallie trying to reunite us and the Lotus. Can't wait for your next video! You always have ideas that change my perspective of the content. Also believe we might get a few more answers in the Whispers update coming next.
@aaronharris2703 Жыл бұрын
What do you think of the idea that the veils were used by the orokin. The orokin masks on the corrupted, they could be veils, this may be how the AI is actually controlling the corrupted. All that Ballas has done is remanufactured this device that they once used and gave it a makeover. They may have used it as a form of control over their now known as Grineer work force.
@YumLemmingKebabs Жыл бұрын
Nevee thought of that, but uts definitely quite plausible.

To me, it definitely lines up perfectly with the new war. Whereas I'm not certain this is what DE had in mind, there sure is a lot of evidence to support it...

I wonder have u made a guess to who was controlling the nec when saving the heart in heart of deimos quest...and back to umbra...is his son who died ...could he be a warframe and pazuul .....who made him because I remember erra helping us and now he has a different head?......or....what if he can evolve...what if that scene he was helping the tenno...changed him .or hear me out maybe there's a hidden threat we haven't seen yet hmmm

Grandmother. At the VERY end of the quest, or it could even be when we rank up with their syndicate, i can't remember but she alludes to the fact it was she that did it, i think in order to bring the family back together? I believe that was the reason she gave. Not sure who pazuul might turn out to be but at the moment it was a sentient guardian that died during the old war erra brought back to life. It took over erra's body after the events of the new war.

Two things I can extrapolate from this: * Ballas is a heartless and tenacious sonuvabich. * The man is, or was, playing the longest con possible, and we 'might' not be done with him yet. The Man in the Wall either is an entity in of itself -- or a means to guide our protagonists towards something specific. ... Actually, I dunno if this is any relevant, but anytime that anyone enters the Void, a doppleganger is made in the image of the "guest". Would Ballas have entered the Void prior? Are we facing his 'other'? If not relevant, I wonder if Ballas... is a lot different than he is made out to be, what if he's guiding the Tenno towards something regarding the void? So many questions, not enough answers... and DE sure knows how to give answers that can still open more questions! Good video!
@TheDsIEGE Жыл бұрын
Thank you and... I guess the way I see it is this. Given his affinity towards continuity and his involvement with so much of the void, I find it very hard to believe he hasn't been visited, and even if he hasn't somehow, he's too smart to let things go with the "horrors the children saw" that forced them into transference. He's an opportunist, so... he knows and if anyone can actually "use" the man in the wall, it's him. He's very much like Ozymandias from the the watchmen, if you think about it.
@xemgoa9512 Жыл бұрын
@@TheDsIEGE So, I had to go look up who Ozymandias was, and which led me to his story in a DC IP. So, Ballas is up to something! But ... If your observation is on point, we might either not be done with him yet, or just not done with the consequences of his actions. Yet his actions keep revolving around one key figure in this story: The Lotus/Margulis. I hope to see more observations from you - and more content from DE on how they develop this story! Good work, and take care!

Ballas went through some very confusing changes. First, he was the creator of warframes, then he suddenly was able to control the Lotus. At that point he seemed to be in a position of power, but next he suddenly got imprisioned and enslaved by the sentients. Then he suddenly became the ruler of the Narmer cult. None of this makes any sense. I guess you could explain it by Ballas being a mastermind planner. Perhaps every detail, including the part of being enslaved, was a part of his super complex plan. I can't come up with any other way to explain this chaos.

Don't you think there was a lack of plannig from DE when it comes to this whole quest? I mean, the prologue instances prior to TNW quest seem so different from each other and also from TNW itself. Think Ballas for example, He takes the Lotus, then The lotus becomes sentient, then he becomes sentient and seems to be helping us, then they are WITH Erra with some sort of plan and Ballas is chained. Then it turns out Ballas is the one in control, and then he turns out to be Warframe's Thanos. What is going on?? There is no consistency with this character. It is like his motivations change from cutscene to cutscene, which mind you, were delivered to us in separate times. Ballas is portrayed to us as a very smart character in the quest we get Umbra Excal. But this quest would show him to be kinda foolish and imprudent. If Ballas wanted to be with Margullis, there was no need to reach the sentients, if he wanted power there was no need to reach Margullis. And wanting both does not seem to be part of his character. But also regarding your theory about the Lotus' helmet, then picking "the Lotus" as an ending for Lotus/Margullis/Natah would be the bad ending? Bc it would mean we put her back in control through it?

i know some people will disagree with this but i tihnk the new war butchered ballas is character he went form this mysterious enigmatic figure pulling the strings to a raving incel on a gaudy pope hat and no shirt. and i know some people will say that's the point its showing how pathetic he really is but it the change happens so fast and is so at odds with his previous charecterisation it just feel un real and quite frankly this series ahs so manny pathetic villan when constantly meme on like vor, nef and alad it would of have been so nice to just have a hypercompetent enigmatic villan. it also makes me worry what there going to do with parvos

@@matthewmartinez3550 honestly him breaking down isnt my problem its the way they did it and honestly my main problem is that his ultimate plan was not actually all that cunning or clever it abasically just boiled down to gets a huge army and shove mind control helmets on everyone
@TheDsIEGE Жыл бұрын
Bear in mind all, he believed he had taken care of us and her for good, so the army he amassed would have been more than enough to quell any other issues he might have. and... lest we forget, we almost lost, powerless to do anything to him in the end. Had we the tenno not used his own creation on him, he would have most likely dispatched us easily, as he did the first time. Whereas I do feel they went a bit heavy with the lotus love... If you've ever truly been in love and lost it... Well, you probably know you'd do anything to feel that again... for a moment, wearing the veil... he was happy. And that turned out to be his undoing. It's poetic really, because he used that same feeling of longing on the tenno, and made them do whatever he wanted. We brought the paracesis, exactly what he needed. We kept going after her, even after being told repeatedly not to. He baited us every step of the way and we could do nothing but keep following. For one moment, he let his guard down. If not for that... we lose, so... Whereas he's not written EXACTLY how I would have liked... I also think it's unfair to say his character was poor. Just my take though...
