The way I play Voruna is minimum duration, high range and strength, somewhat high efficiency. I just keep her 4 ability active at all times , spam her 2nd ability and just watch the entire map bleed away. I think people kinda sleep on her 4th ability, even though it is really good if you pair it with her 2nd. With her status resist passive, you can keep her health and shields at base and just fly around the map clawing people and eviscerating everything. She is basically Garuda but on speed. I lover her

1 year later and now her 4 has an augment that refreshes 1 pounce any time it game-ends an enemy afflicted w/ a slash proc, which means she can *UwU pounces on u* basically infinitely. it's a very fun brain-off playstyle.

The problem is...Ash's 4 is doing the same thing Voruna's 4 does, but x10 times better. 1) You don't have to launch yourself to enemies. 2) You deal much more slash dmg. 3) Your energy efficiency is A LOT better.

Voruna has a solid kit, like absolutely insane...but that still doesn't negate the fact she doesn't literally go Beast Mode. At this point we should just spam DE to give us Furion and not a "Werewolf Frame," last time we asked for a monster Frame we got Rev and he's dumb, then we got Garuda but she's the bare minimum of a "vampire."

That's exactly why I have some hope that we might start seeing some cool Warframe concepts that we've been asking for a long time, Rebecca already released "Wolf Mommy", I legit hope that now that Steve doesn't make all the decisions we'll get some more traditional designs, as much as I like Warframe's spin on the usual concepts I also want something simple as a werewolf frame. As for staying on all four mode, maybe an augment mod could do that, lower the damage of the Ability in exchange for it being a toggle mode, if they would put a bit more effort it could turn into more of an exalted mode, like Valkyr. Of course all of that is wishful thinking but I do hope.

Problem is that there are so many frames that are in dire need of reworks, some more so than Limbo. Frost, Chroma, Inaros, Ash, Banshee, Yareli (recent buffs helped her, but she could still use more), Loki, Nyx, Valkyr… the list keeps growing.

Might be because the Wolf Sledge is just a weird melee. It's a glaive-hammer hybrid weapon, with no other weapon like it. It already does weird things with heavy attack efficiency

what a lot of people don't know about voruna is that she moves ALL statuses afflicted on an enemy to ALL enemies within range, so if you use gas damage on your weapon of choice for killing, and hit really big numbers, even if you don't get gas damage on the 2 itself the whole room will disappear :) Also it combos incredibly well with the mecha modset which is literally just her 2 but on a small timer and instead has a 30m fixed range when you have all 4 set mods (essential for mecha to be stronk) I found that heat damage and inheritance builds were inconsistent, as well as group+electric combos, and whilst slash was doable, gas damage stood above the rest mostly because of gas' unique ability to crit, which combos real fuckin goodly liek with the whole shroud gives crit damage thing
