Guard T3 seems strong as hell now with the new super units and bulgryns, those bulgryns are a great addition for guard who also ways struggled with having a hardy infantry unit

New super tanks that are anti-zerg? Thats a huge change for the guard and really could change the balance. IG been suffering a long while under the boot of heretics and xenos. But maybe with some hot plasma of justice and a ton of bullets, they can return to the "hold a line" faction.

Holy shit that was awesome. Those new BB types are incredible. Loved to see it. For me it felt like regular BB were lacking in what they could deliver for their investment cost. Now these specific types really seem to create a new dynamic use for which BB to use in specific scenarios. Looking forward to see more matches and see if the new BB are too OP or not.

@@gunterthekaiser6190 I love it. Hand up, I have an IG bias, followed closely by Chaos. I just love to see their tank lines in long T3 games. Now we get to see a much more dynamic IG in how they approach their T3 armies. I cannot wait... EDIT: Also I think that IG get a real T3 melee unit with the Bonegryn is really good. Something that can try and tie up, and defend against Nobs and Termies.

This was an epic battle, and a great showcase for the new IG T3. Bullgryns reinforcing off of the stormlord was pretty oppressive on that push through to the orc's natural VP. Also, an impressive display of tank control rare in the 3v3 scene - so used to seeing super units thrown away in their first two minutes.

I love the new IG units. For a long time now the IG has lacked a "cap under fire" unit that could retake a victory point under fire. So if they faced Terminators or Nobs or any of the really heavy guys they simply couldn't take back a VP in 3v3. And the psycher adds some really useful control abilities against heavy melee units.

After a large army has departed an Imperial muster world to fight a Chaos incursion Orks of the Goff klan have launched a rapid attack to loot the vast stores of arms material still remaining. The Imperial Guard can muster only a few soldiers against the Ork horde, but they are frantically reading their armored reserves to crush the Ork threat. P.S.: look at the cute litte powerclaw the Warboss has on his Gun arm. Also I think the Battlewagon and maybe the Chaos Land Raider should get some reinforce or buff Auras now. Particularly the Battlewagon, it is extremely outclassed.

Very important Tip for Stormblade. You must "rotate" tank manually by Clicking right button unlike baneblade. Or else it can't fire its blastgun. IG player "Novact" show it why rotate your tank

Ork turrets are manned by a Gretchin that is welded into the turret permanently iirc

It has a standard attack, but does so pretty slowly. The ability shot is scarier and also disables its own weapons for 5 seconds afterward.

That Stormlord thing is better than Ordo Malleus` LR cause of damage type (inferno vs piercing) and it still has proper lascannons instead of melta. So it`s more effective against most infantry and still not completely useless against vehicles, in fact, in will do a decent job especially if supported properly.

Super disappointed by the Ork late game. Guard relied exclusively on tanks, yet they waited thirty minutes to get Tankbustas. Instead they went for looted Tanks against IG tanks. No idea what they were thinking. They threw this game so hard

What is it with IG players and their obsession with driving baneblades (and now their variants) immediately to the front lines and just keep pushing them further and further to their death? Seems they never just stop to consolidate and repair. IG tier 1 seems to be a case of just clinging on for dear life.

IG tier 1 is bullying the opponent with a two single entities that don't bleed req (sentinel and hero) and typically not overspending in power till they get T2 and hopefully go nuts on something like stormtroopers in excess should they not bleed excessive req from losses in T1. Depending on how good the individuals dentinal micro is and keeping the GM out of the firing line means they can avoid the extra req upkeep from buying the sgt upgrade for survivability

Oof. Those Bullgryns escorting the Baneblade near the end was fucking *brutal*. They beat the shit out of the nobs and kept them suppressing while it just sat there and shredded everything. Mag-fucking-nificent. I always thought the IG was super lacking in T3 and these are some fantastic changes. I gasped out loud when I saw that plasma BB fire for the first time and just fucking DELETE the lootaz.

Sweet! Now for the sentinel T3 upgrade to vehicle armour (with decreased speed) and more weapons like auto cannon, plasma cannon, the rockets suck as they travel slower than goddamn slingshot projectiles which make zero sense, hope they fix that.

It has nothing to do with specific units, Orks simply cant deal with high sustain, much control, big aoe - fights that happen constantly in 3on3 lategame situations. The whole wagh mechanic is built around short fights with high burst damage, not for running into 3 tanks and 2 Stormblades. Nobz get chain cced, the rest of your army just melts. You can see this in literally any video.

This is a crazy take to me. I've seen tons of Ork Faction wars where their T3 cannot be stopped. Combination of Nobs, Flashgits, and tankbustas seem unstoppable at times. I think in this game the Lemun Russ play was incredible, and the Orks response to vehicles was the mekboy with the lazcannon, and the loota laz cannon. I would've thought they would put out a lot more tankbustas.
