That mid to late game Tyranid swarm was one of the most lore accurate matches I've seen for a while, in the size of the swarm and how coordinated it was.

There is no lack of planet in the Imperium where life is tough and their citizen tougher. Yet, confronted with a Tyranid swarm, their inhabitant proceeded to a swift evacuation rather than be transformed into biomass, hoping to starve the invaders in a terribly cold world. As they waited for the incoming Imperial navy, and imperial forces, to enter into action, some lights were seen in the dark frozen night. Soon after, Eldar emerged from the webway, through hidden portals. Their bold intervention could only be seen as an attempt to recover some precious artifacts, before this world become the next victim of the Great Devourer. The next battle between those two force will determine if the ancient race will succeed in its mission, or simply become the next meal to the eternally starving Tyranids.

3 Eldar players and no warp Spiders were ever used. If one of them had double Spiders you'd have at least some kiting ability but they rly thought they could just lock horns with blobbed up tyranid armies.

What a slaughter. It os really hard to say where the Eldar went wrong, I wonder if some troop carriers would have allowed their teir one units to hang in the field for a bit longer, maybe that would have changed the game. They lost in the early pushes and once the nids had teir three, there was nothing the Eldar could do to turn it around in time.

I think in this game there where not big mistakes we can really point out on the eldar like other games, the nids just played better and used their units better, getting more damage done and wasting the resource of the eldar, all of this contributed to the nightmare that last push was, so many bugs holy shit. Have to say the nids did very well putting alot of pressure on the eldar, primarily Floid in the right side.

Kinda. But one barbed strangler shot and all your infantry is supressed which basiclaly reduces their ranged damage by like -80%? Debuffing both shooting and reloading. Its easy to judge right now but i would perhaps advise double banshee with enchanced warp generator. Quad snipers of course is a shaky strat at best. Immolator or psychic storm might have also helped. Regardless competent use of toxin removed all melee threats to nid line and poor Eldars have no artillery nor jump infantry.

They kind of just get drawn into the brawl, that's what went wrong imo. Eldar is kind of made for flanking, they just don't have the durability of SM or the cost of Nids to fight the attrition. Don't think I see any Webway, no Warp Spider either which could be an easy counter to lot of the Tyrannid army in T2

Eldar are weak against the lictor. The lictor forces the Eldar to buy Rangers which are an expensive liability whose only reason for purchase is detection. Compare with catachans which detect, shotgun, melee, ORGL, IED. Rangers just cost money and don't scale well and you are FORCED to buy into them VS the lictor otherwose you will never be able to hold a line without being disrupted. TBH, they are the weakest unit for Eldar but are hard to rework because they can be deadly in 1v1 VS other races. Ive been saying the same thing since chaos rising: cap ALL units no matter the tier at 2, except for super units and you will then enable creating stronger individual units without having to worry about spammability side-effects. Blood crusher when chaos rising was ridiculous op, but had it been capped at 1 or 2 it would be scary bu manageable. But instead every game saw 4 to 6 of them and thus it got massively nerfed

The mistakes I noticed: * Loosing units in T1. Banshees and shuries are quite important and expensive. * Bad grenade throws. * No Webway Gate used for flanking range Tyranid armies. It's a bad choice for eldar to fight them "face to face". * No Warp Spider for kiting and stunning. Also rangers. They was so freaking useless, imo. But that's the question for Elite mod dev team.

It's kind of tough but I also think the Eldar didn't put up their most optimum build against the Nids I guess. I would expect double spider or mass teleport Banshee against this kind of Tyranid set up, they kind of trying to match them strength by strength which isn't the way to go for the Eldar. Tenso also made tons of micro mistakes in here guess they must have tried already after so many games

Nids win this matchup like 90% of the time so it's a pretty boring one.
