Guard fought like it was in fact the vilest of chaos worshippers and not holy Ordos. But OM did, despite what felt like being at the back foot for the whole duration of a game, fight valliantly. Absolute disaster and waste of Emperor's loyal.

The Guard were doomed from the start. They didn't get strong counters to Ordo heavy melee. Plasma fire against a squad of Paladins or Grey Knights won't be enough to get the job done quick.

HOLY Damn. THIS ORDO team is pretty good. Broodwich playing the Eversor Assassin was a One-Man Army taking on the entire IG team. Bagaznik did really well using the Brother-Captain buffs to the Paladins to hold Mid and push back IG too. Everyone seems to be bashing Tenso but perception is not that easy if you weren't the one playing. He could had been easily bum rushed by another Interceptor Squad and get 1 entire IG Squad wiped; or worst is losing both squads. There was 2 Vortimer Razorback on the field and the other one could had rushed up to guard top Cap. His call to retreat was not a bad call since the 2nd Vortimer did show up along with Crusader squad. Tenso would had been wiped and left only with Kasrkin only. IG was left with no heavy units at this point already near end game. Was a good game play on both sides. Veldi getting the Baneblade was a mistake since Baneblade *Rate of Fire* is just way too slow. Getting a Stormlord may had allowed IG to quickly regroup and recover from unit losses so they don't have to run all the way back to the HQ to re-up units. Stormlord can also shelter the heavily wounded IG units to hide in it during intense firefights or battle allowing the player to rethink on how to get out of the danger zone. Tenso and DanceCommander both had Leman Russ Vanquisher so IG anti-vehicle was good already at mid game. I would had invested in 1 Ogryn and 1 Psyker to tackle Ordo heavy melee.Catachan near end game was only good for disruption at that point since Ordo Heavy Melee was too powerful. Ordo was able to close the gap of gun fire and melee combat. That was how IG lost in the end since the Eversor Assassin did a hell of a good job tying up and scaring the IG away too.

Imperial Guard elements assaulted the last stronghold of the Greater Deamon of Khorne, Che'agiz-Kan alongside the extreordinary marines in silver armor. It fell after a single day and guard immidiately started to rejoice. Lord General Veldi was quick to personally vox the Inquisitor Andreas ın congratulation. Silence in the voxcomm was perplexing, and sudden continuation of bolter fire concerning. What brought the Lord General to his senses was the visual confirmation of the Grey Knights slaughtering his regiment. Quick to act, he rallied the Imperial Guard against the Ordo Malleus forces in this 3 v 3 on Deathworld Temple!

Broodwich, don't know if you can read this. But big thanks for Eversor performance. Big fanboy of Eversor Assassin here. Veldi was also fun to watch with 2 Catachans squads.

Whenever I see Imperium factions fighting each other, I like to think they're playing war games, shooting blanks and so on - guardsmen still die of course.

The funny animation seems to stem from a unit being “suppressed” while retreating. Because i saw it happens with the LC and some guardsman while retreating under purgation attack

I said it once but I have to sai it again OM do not have good antivehicle damage the lascannon on the razorback did almost nothng against a sentinel and look how AM wiped a razorback in a facking intant.

sentinel has 700 hp and heavy infantry armor; it's pretty tanky to AV weapons. It also was probably leveled and had even more HP. lasrhino does 100 damage per shot and is pretty cheap at 355 req and 55 power with 500 hp. those stormtroopers had the double damage buff which on a 200 damage melta buffs it to 400 damage....

The Guard is only OP in mass number firefight. Other than that they get wiped in close combat. Ordo is the one that truly needs more buff. LOL. IG got curb stomped badly in this game. I thought that Ordo might had lost as soon as they were losing Paladins everywhere. Somehow I am impressed at the tactical play of the Ordo players.

Public service reminder. 1. All faction strength, weakness, unit abilities, stats are designed to work in 1v1 settings. 2. All modes of game share same unit stats and technically cannot be made to have different stats. When changing one, it affects all others. Only one mode can be balanced as a result. 3. Elite Mod is a 1v1 balance mod. Team games are not considered when patching. 4. In a teamgame, each faction is a tool, a part of a combination as a team. There is an OP/UP combination but not an OP/UP faction. 3 same faction teams are always easily countered.
