There are some lines in the song that doesn't make a lot of sense for the emperor, primarily those pertaining to him appealing and answering to some heavenly lord. The emperor definitely answers to _no one_ else, and certainly not to any so called divinity; if anything he himself is the heavenly lord. I've always enjoyed the depiction of the Emperor versus Horus which appears at 4:06. In typical depictions of "good versus evil" (whether it's fictional or old, baroque, religiously-themed paintings), good is usually portrayed as being greater, stronger, and higher than evil. But in this 40K depiction, Horus is positioned ABOVE the Emperor, and he is LARGER than the Emperor. In 40K, madness and death cast a greater figure than the Order which endeavours to oppose it. It's beautifully thematic of the universe at large.

The lore of Warhammer 40k is just amazingly good, especially the history of mankind and the emperor. It dwarves the lore of of every other race combined in both quality and quantity. Even the art is awesome. You can kinda feel the strength and unification strength of an imaginary emperor of an imaginary universe. Bottom line, you get immersed in the culture and lore of the imperium. It becomes even better by the fact that the emperor currently is a dead corpse only able to sustain some form of life by the sacrifice of thousands of phsycers.

Keilink tau technology only allow them to travel short lengths through the warp while being some what safe from the creatures of the warp and daemons, that is not viable for a galactical empire liek the imperium. The technology of the eldar's webway was lost even by eldar, as a result they cannot build new webway space. However this was the Emperor was working on while he was away during the great crusade, and it was his last mission to achieve his dreams before the horus heresy happened.

Even if you pray to him he cannot understand because he is blind to it a total blank as the case may be. That is why he dislikes false re-presentation of his character.
