Warhammer 40k Aeldari Reveals!!! All the ELDAR Phoenix Lords & Aspect Warriors... But ONE

Imo Fuegan being leaked screwed up their announcement plans. I think they wanted to reveal Fuegan, Baharroth, and Lhykis with their new updated aspect warriors first then reveal Asumen and Karandras closer to the actual release date to keep hype going. With Fuegan leaked they decided to still reveal 3 phoenix lords and will just have Karandras be the last one revealed. Just my theory on it.

I'm happy for eldar players. They finally get (almost) everything. In all honesty I'm tempted to collect them purely for the shelf. They look great as a unified force for the first time since ...what...3rd edition? The new PL is fantastic. Normally im not a fan of the "extra stuff" like the webbing but it seems to fit.

The "current" Swooping Hawks & Fire Dragons are from the late 4th edition major re-do Eldar received. Only the Warp Spiders and Vyper jetbike have been kicking around since 2nd edition. IIRC, the Falcon got a re-cut in 6th edition, though it's still a PITA to build. Overall Eldar are probably the most well supported model line outside of Space Marines. Only really lean times they've ever had were 5th edition where they never got a codex, (though they *did* get the Support Weapon Batteries + Fire Prism & Night Spinners all released in plastic), and 8th edition where they had just a couple HQ's + Howling Banshees released in plastic.

I’m so excited. Came back game in July after taking a break in 5th edition, and my second edition Eldar still looked like they could be on the table top. Finally going to put together my Aspect Warrior list with each Phoenix lord. I still have Karandras in metal so if he doesn’t get a new model I’ll be able to put them together, but would love to keep my 30 year old metal model on the shelf.

Everybody says only one Phoenix Lord is missing but there is actually another one : Irillyth and the shadow spectres, which were FW only models.

ya the shadow spectres are a sort of afterthought. they were never part of the original eldar lore, or model range. so for most people they are just a side note. when GW makes plastic shadow spectres, i'll start considering the return of their phoenix lord as well. but the rhana dandra is an old prophecy from eldar about end times, so if kharandris shows up, and irillyth doesnt, its pretty clear GW doesnt consider the shadow spectres relevant. so as long as kharandris is still not coming, there is still hope for the spectres.

the wraithlord kit is ok. i dont think it needs a new set, but a combo pack that builds the wraithlord, or wriathseer would be cool

oh, yeah they did discontinued the wraithseer. Never did get one... Well, maybe next edition we'll get a less static wraithlord/seer
