These old school Wh40k battles look SOOOOOOOO much more fun, I'm envious that we had to start with the new stuff😭 Really love watching your Battlereports, even if i struggle a bit with your dialect...still easier to understand than most fellas from Glasgow 😂 Have a nice day.

@bringbattlewargaming8720 I know about the PDF, but I also talk about the Minis and the Paint Style. I like this old-school, grotesque paint style. I started WH40k mainly for my son and my nephew to have a counter activity to those Electronic Devices... And it works. Sadly both prefer the newer, less Comic like look and the never Minis.

Ork Dreads are the bain of Eldar imho. The eldar "can" punch through armour but only if they specifically build for it and if they don't they get swamped. So Ork Dreads + massive goff mobs, the Eldar can deal with either but not both

As a right of passage I plan to paint the orks that would have come in the boxset so will have aload of gretchin, orks and a dread

Sorry Rich, I was going for the Eldar there. That was nearly the exact Eldar army I'd take in against Orks; only thing I think was missing was 3 Dark Reapers with plasma missiles. As to what Ork army beats this kind of Eldar army, Red Suns army with melee mobs in trucks and plenty of bikes was the type I used to find most annoying to face.
