Good solid try regardless, was great to watch! Indrid actually gives a lot of solid tips within his commentary here, too, especially about ASM, Dreadnoughts, and initiating engagements..

@@cykeok3525 yeah my issue was always sending in ASM early, b/c i used to be an APO main i'd heal them early but with FC don't really have that option.

yeah i feel like i would have had the game if i didn't lose my rhino and dread at his base. that was easily the turning point in the game. I went melta gun b/c of tanks

Saw Rutank in Torpid cast earlier - he's pretty decent actually, just doesn't judge the fight super well. Running units straight into the range blob to throw grenade or ASM into Sluggas etc. But his micro is actually pretty good a lot of the time (just lost all his cool at the end but I guess everybody would in that type of situation

Going into a fight without reinforcing the Stormboyz and baiting out an attempted squad wipe only for Call Da Boyz to barely save the squad at 17:47 was suspiciously tactical for an Ork... GG to both players, it was a great scrap! (:

17:28 the beamy deffgun wasn't in the game on release? How did Relic add it in? Retribution wasn't a Steam game on release (actually took a few years iirc)

Not the beamy deffgun. The Mekboys "Dakka Dakka Dakka" Shoota was added. Retribution was always Steam. All DoW2 games are Steam only. The original DoW2 is the reason I got Steam in the first place, since it was required.

@@IndridCasts must be thinking of Chaos Rising because I originally got a physical copy that I had to run through some Relic program until it somehow automatically ported itself into my Steam account.

Relic never had a launcher/program. You may be thinking of GFWL which was used for multiplayer and matchmaking in the original DoW2 and Chaos Rising before both were ported to SteamWorks for multiplayer and matchmaking. They both always required Steam to run though even when GFWL was used for multiplayer.

i think they should rework that Mekboy global skill, i just don't see it having any effect on DPS or what, i just see the symbol and that's it. Yes it makes grenades of stikkbommaz do 25% increased damage but that's about all

So sad to see this game underrated. Still having great graphics, perfect voice acting, cool units, fun to watch with lots of back and forth actions. I wish relic would have supported more.
