I always found 40k "serious" art to be nigh on breathtaking.

No mention of the warp talons? They are raptors who after extended exposure to raw warp energy transformed into mindless animalistic killing machines. Their most unique and disturbing ability is that they are able to traverse the inmaterium without a ship or other kinds of protection. The arrival of a warp talon pack on the battlefield is heralded by the sickening sound of ethereal claws ripping the fabric of reality apart. The unfortunate enemies who witnesse the warp talons arriving are themselves exposed to the warp, while not necessarily lethal the visions of the realm of chaos usually make those who witnesses it petrified with fear and as such easy pickings for the warp talons. Due to their mindless, predatory nature warp talons are unleashed rather than commanded.

GrimDark Narrator good too know. I really like the lore and miniature design of the warp talons,to bad that they are more awesome in the lore than in the actual game.

I do like my Raptors, so much Gold trim im having unpleasant flashbacks to when I was painting 10 of them!

I know it's been a while but could you maybe do a closer look at the Bleeding Eyes? The raptors that were part of the Night Lords warband led by Talos?

They sound cool though you wouldn't want one as a pet, those people in the floating cities would not have had that problem if they had only turned to Tzeentch corp patented floating city technology the only way to have your city flying high....result's may vary & failure to follow Tzeentch could result in injury & property damage, buy your's today.
