From reading the First Heretic, it seems Colchis was at least partially corrupted before the Emperor showed up. Lots of mentions of the old gods. So more to blame on Lorgar, the first ass hole Erebus, and Kor Pharon. And then there was Davin...pretty much the start of this whole mess.

@STORM LORD Yeah, most of the really bad stuff at the beginning of the Heresy started there. The biggest was that's where Horus fell to Chaos (Thanks again Erebus!)

@STORM LORD In a nutshell, Horus' corruption got kickstarted on Davin. He got wounded into a fight and went into a coma. Then, at Erebus' insistence, the legion took Horus to be "healed" by the lodges on the planet with were pretty much chaos cultists already.

I think the moment the Primarch capsules were taken it was too late. Maybe the Emperor could gain enough power to send his past self a warning to somehow shield his project from the warp I doubt the Heresy could be prevented

Blood Pact will probably get its own series. There's a lot of lore on it thanks to the Gaunt's Ghosts novels.

If you mean the types of imperial guard infantry units, you should check an older playlist on my channel called Imperial Guard Forces. As for talking about the Emperor's plans, that might be a good idea for an "open speech" type of video, whenever I start doing those.
