I am a toaster thank you very much :) I would love to see a story of one of the "lost" colonies, where they have kept much of the old tech and the real knowledge of how it work, resulting in them having peace and prosperity just for them to encounter the Imperium and being forced into compliance and conformity. I know that there are many stories where you follow the Imperium and they encounter similar societies, but it is always from the Imperium’s perspective. A story from the perspective of the colony where they despair at how backwards the Imperium have become and that they will have to conform and lose most of their knowledge if they want to survive would be interesting.

@@GrimDarkNarrator I always thought of Gholas more as memory-imprinted clones than as truly artificial constructs. The Duncan Idaho Gholas are their own persons.

@@gagaplex True, Gholas are pretty much clones with embedded triggers for various purposes by their Tleilaxu creators. This 40k version are more akin to literal constructs but the inspiration is right there in the name :D
