FW is doing some Talarn minis in resin, however I understand your desire for more than just plastic cadians & catachans, personaly I'd like them to make Praetorians again as all they'd need to do is make alternate heads to make the figures into mordians like they did w/the metal minis

I tend to do small warband's as I don't have the time nor money for a full army though as I said about the death korps if they produced plastics they would fly off the shelves, I know it takes time & money to produce them but the other imperial guard plastics have been out for a very long time now come on GW.

Probably a good pairing. They are both adept of light infantry tactics, ambush and other such tactics.

They had multiple kinds of Egyptians in warhammer all the way to the Great Crusade and earlier. They're called the Thousand Sons. Or the Necons if you prefer aliens :D
