I love seeing how paint ties all this together so much haha. A lot of super skilled battletech terrain modellers would make terrain out of the weirdest stuff! And the best of them made it so you couldn't even tell what went into making it.

@@ChampionofTerra Yoru methods here are definetely among them! 40k scale is so much different than Battletech and the techniques to make them look to scale and fit are so different... stupid me picked to play both games haha.

When using a mesh like that, lay a line if glue just inside your cutting line, let it dry, then cut. It wont un ravel so badley. Nice build

Tip for you to consider as an alternative to that Yellow Mesh : DIY stores sell Dry Wall Tape which is sticky backed and perfect for placing on buildings and ramps etc - an alternative to Granny Taping. It is what I use and it is relatively cheap on Amazon.

I really like your stippling technique. Next time I have some flat areas that won't take a wash, I'll have to keep that in mind since it's something I should know but somehow always forget. Also I totally agree that once you have a base coat to hide all the different materials and colors, things really start to look good.

Just came by your channel now because I was looking for "industrial" and post apocalyptic diorama for 5 parsecs from home. Going to use your work as inspiration. I like how the bandages turned out to hide mistakes. I will use cheesecloth because it is cheaper for me to get. Cheers
